I think that BC is letting the statistics effect his judgment. It doesn't matter if you have 65% of possession, passing it along your back 4 and midfield 4 if you only have 1 clear cut chance the whole match.

1) Darren Bent, chipped over keepers legs, bounced just wide. #
2) Bale hit the post
3) Bale just wide of the right hand post
4) Woodgate (I think) Hit the crossbar
5) Frazier in front of goal, right foot no power; easy save.

16 shots on goal. Were you listening to Phil Brown by any chance?

# Incidentally, did anyone else notice how Benty's chip over the keepers legs bounced left and then seemed to 2nd bounce right after it past the post. It moved like bloody Shane Warne had delivered it.

Glad that 'some' people have perspective that we have been really unlucky and that many players had a O'Hara for such a battling game.

It makes me sick how Zokora gets so much praise. Yes he makes the odd probing run, and yes every now and then he manages to cover our full backs with his pace...but for the majority of the game he stands, strolls and gives the opposition far too much space to pull the strings.

His positional sense for a DEFENSIVE midfielder is nothing short of disgraceful.

I agree with Ray Houghton on talksport when he said that he has to laugh at the thought of Zokora playing in a top premeirship side.

How come when JJ played alongside a decent defensive midfielder in Carrick that we kept our most clean sheets??

He does the work of two central midfielders - get rid of Zokora.

Zokora was our best player yesterday in my opinion. He was awesome.
