Bit late to this but, yes, Sanchez actually did quite well on PEA who became more dangerous when he went central.
Sanchez just looked awkward and hurried at times but given it was an unfamiliar role and out set up (not his "positioning") affords acres of space on the flanks.
And he absolutely busted his gut. 10 for effort.
