Good way to put it. It feels like his handbrake is on, just once I’d like to see him try to flick it round the defender with his back to goal to mix it up.

We need to give him time, and I’m not bashing him, but its strange to watch our winger be our least brave player taking the least risks
Nailed it to be fair. Not an easy game for him though against the best team in the world, I think he was signed mainly to be a bench option this season but he’s been playing loads because of our injuries etc.

Don’t remember City having too many. Stats say 10 but I don’t remember them. City’s intensity was great for the first 20-25 minutes but they didn’t do a lot after the “technical issue”. I think we’ll see a much better performance in the 2nd half.

Wonder if all the blocked shots count? Was 2/3 in about 10 seconds of eachother at one point.

People in here way too harsh on our players, expecting worldy performances all the time. As the home side, in a cup tie against a superior opponent, that's a fine first half. Let's see what happens second half.

Agree. It's a bit strange how often he gets the wrong ball, almost as if he's showing the wrong signals or just too used to getting the ball played over the top. Whenever he's asked to come short I feel he's on his heels and either is second to the ball or loses it almost right away. I feel like that's one of the most frustrating parts about his game.

I do really like Foden and Bobb. There was a turn Foden did that was utterly ridiculously he did it with such ease.

Okay that's enough plaudits for the opposition. COYS.

They’ve had a few deflected shots and pot shots off target but yea only 1-2 memorable ones.

Stats say we haven’t had 1 lol.

Would be funny if we get yet another 1-0 over city not even parking the bus this time but having been pushed back and hitting them on the break yet again 😅🤣🙏 come on football gods sort us out again.

Fans did get on Kulusevskis back after about 5 minutes but Brennan is definitely not far behind. My guess is most just see his price tag and feel he should be doing more or have progressed further in his development than what he's showing on the pitch.
To be fair I’m here and I have not heard anybody in the south stand on Kulusevski back!
