Have you been sniffing glue again Deej?
Don't be jealous of my tactical genius you sex beast.
Have you been sniffing glue again Deej?
Okay so a mix of a guess and a wish:
-----------------------Lloris------------------------
---Dier-------Kaboul----------Vertonghen----Rose---
--------------Capoue--------Bentaleb--------------
----Lamela------------Kane-----------Eriksen--------
---------------------Adebayor------------------------
subs: Friedel, Davies, Townsend, Dembele, Holtby, Chadli, Soldado
Well there will be a CB as sub other than that I struggle to find space for guys like Lennon or Sandro
is up for sale and Chirches not ready yet. Rose over Davbies is fine - he's done nothing wrong and Davies needs time to blend into the squad.
.
I'm sticking with my hunch of what will work well dynamically.
Lloris
Kaboul Dier Vertonghen Davies
Capoue Mason
Lamela Eriksen Ceballos
Soldado
Subs : Vorm, Rose, Holtby, Chadli, Townsend, Kane, Ade
I think that would be a very flat midfield, I'm a firm believer in playmaker in cm which will allow us to move the ball quicker.I wouldn't mind seeing us play a 433 at all:
Paulinho Capoue Bentaleb
Lamela Adebayor Eriksen
But I think Pochettino is dead set on a 4231.
EDIT - The formatting got ripped straight outFor me.... it has to be
LLoris
Dier Kaboul Vertonghen Davies
-----Capoue------
---------Dembele
----Eriksen
Lamela Soldado Kane
Different I know, but I think that would be very affective against QPR
I'm confused , I thought he'd been sold....
Yup, lennon will take a while to sink in, those little legs pumping around the pitch always pull the wool over managers' eyes.. Just one of those things. Just gotta wait it out until poch twigs, then I expect the bench to be his home for while.Love to see this. But I think he'll find room for Lennon somewhere.
Can't believe everyone doesn't have Bentaleb in the side. Showed grit on Saturday and skill tonight. Must start for me
Soldado and Lamela have to start for me. If we want Bobby to turn the corner, he has to be given a fighting chance to rack up goals in consecutive games.
That was a peach last night. Confidence should be high. If he could bag one on Sunday, that could be the turning point for him.
It's not just about scoring goals, Soldado links the attack better, making the front 4 a better team, but also, Lamela plays better with Soldado in front. Also, and IMO most importantly, against West Ham, Ade's failure to press the defender on the ball (not sure if it was a fitness issue), let down our whole pressing game. The amount of times Lamela, Eriksen & Lennon closed down the passing options only for Ade to jog away from the player on the ball (forcing the other 3 to retreat) was infuriating and it allowed the person in possession to have all of the time in the world to play a long pass, or pass to someone in midfield.
Yes remember the last time he scored i think in Europe had a good game and was dropped or was that Lamela?
