Is Chiri injured?
The midfield needs to pick up the pace and drive at Hull.
Lennon is just awful today and Ade is not far behind him, Soldado needs to just try smashing one from anywhere.

Can't understand no holding mid for this one. All their play has come from long balls to the strikers and the bits and pieces infront of our back four. Someone with shielding instincts would give us so much more solidity.

I think we are just as likely to win Arse at home as we are a Stoke or Hull away personally

hmmm...not for me. Generally speaking, we're very good away from home - particularly against sides outside the top 6 or 7.

Name a really good performance at home recently - against a top half side?

my worry is that it is so obvious that Paulinho has it in his contract that he must play every game (when fit).

Dear God

The passing and first touch of our players is awful. Hull are shite, we could still do this if some of em wake up, man up and show some intent composure and technique

Too many passengers again. Eriksen the best of a bad bunch. Both strikers off their game and Kane to come on

Definitely didn't need a striker in the tw. Blinding decision

Looking at their goal properly OMG so poor in defence

Yeah it is.

The point I was trying to make to some of the people blinded by their hatred/dislike of Dawson is that it wasn't just his fault.

All of the back 4 needed to take a look at themselves for that goal.

Bentaleb doesn't do enough off the ball, not much maturity in his positioning or tracking. Hopefully it will come.

It seems that Sherwood isn't going to be subject to any form of criticism for a long time to come.

We always moan about managers, players and chairman. its totally irrelevant who they are who they are.

The fact that some people are still knocking Bentaleb after that performance, when there are so many more to highlight, confirms the fact people just want to whinge and nothing that happens is going to chance that.

Not specifically aimed at you, crokey, but I'm getting tired of hearing this now. Yes, Soldado needs a goal in the same way that we want the team to score goals every match, but I'm no longer having it that Soldado just needs one goal to go in off his arse and then everything will start going for him again. What he needs to do is work a lot harder and play a lot better: the goals will take care of themselves then.

There's only so long we can attribute his form to rub of the green and low confidence: at some point he's got to make his own luck, and that has got to happen sooner rather than later IMO.
I agree the only way to score is put a shift in but a "goal" gives a forward a bit more bounce.

If Soldado can get a goal he'll be bouncing ... fingers crossed.

Watching the highlights, Lennon seems to hold a strange animosity towards foreign players. He only ever plays in Walker.
