Reading a lot of Soldado is crap and Soldado cant do it in the EPL .. for me Soldado is quality and is one of the most cool/confident looking strikers weve had in a long time.

The problem is not 'he cant cut it in England' its not that 'he's crap' its the fact we dont have the players that can put the crosses in that he thrives on.

Lennon puts one quality cross in every 60 years, Walker has, in the last two seasons, developed an annoying habit of getting in to a crossing position then cutting back inside or just stopping and passing it backwards and we have nothing at all coming in from the left while Rose was out, now that he's back there are crosses coming in but their poor.

If we can not play to our strikers strengths what is he supposed to do.

I agree to a certain extent. I'm a huge Soldado fan and really liked him from his Valencia time. I was always defending him and saying he hasn't had the service, but in all honesty when the service has eventually come along he has more often than not made a complete hash of it. I have tried defending him all I can and I have seen the neat flicks and measured passes, but until he starts regularly taking the chances that do come his way I'm naturally going to start doubting him.

Yesterday he was appalling.

We have no service. Its been a problem since the beginning of the season. And the one player who can provide service never plays even when he is healthy. Its bad when you only have one wide player who can provide service but your manager sees his as someone who plays behind the striker. So essentially, we have no one out wide who can provide service to Soldado.

His confidence looks shot IMO, if he can get a couple of goals I think he will be fine but at the moment you can see the doubt in himself like when he passed yesterday when he had a good chance himself, if the confidence was there he would never have passed.

I can't believe you've just spam rated all my posts, my god you need to grow up.

You have Aaron Lennon's eyebrows stuck on the side of your fucking head, and you're purposely rating posts as 'spam', despite them being in response to you? Priceless :ROFLMAO:

Because they are spam...

I agree Davo

Lets not kid ourselves here. I'm willing to defend Soldado as much as the next man but the tired excuse that he doesnt get service or doesnt get the intelligent through ball he thrives on is a load of crap and just a cover for him being out of form. He's has plenty of good chances to score, and a striker on form would have scored at least one of them.

Lets face facts; he is low on confidence and he's making a lot of poor wrong runs (as well as some good runs) and not running at all in some cases. He's simply not playing as well as we know he can. As I have said before it's about managing him correctly. Chelsea persisted with Torres and his poor form lasted for ages (he was just turning the corner when he got injured).

Just because a player is off form does not mean he is crap.

Don't forget that Ghaly was on form (even when he wasn't playing) and we still got rid of him.

So, by sheer association, as they're responses to you, your posts are also Spam. And to top things off, you've also rated my response to your pathetic little jibe before you disappeared, as 'Spam'. You're a truly sad little boy & need to either get a life, or get laid. Either way, grow up man!!

Coming from the person who won't let it go

There is only one person here who needs to grow up and it certainly ain't me

I'm starting to get concerned about the whole Soldado thing, but to call him a crap player isn't right. His record speaks for itself an his price tag is justified. Maybe it's not just the right league for him... I hope I'm wrong, but I've been hoping for a long time now.

Past history and whatever else counts for nothing in this situation

Check out Shevchenko, one of the greatest strikers in the world, he went to Chelsea and he just went downhill from there

True, but practically everybody who goes to Chelsea become pale shadows of their former selves!
