Good game... frankly i think in the 90mins, the Argentinians had the better chances but they couldn't convert. Germany did well handling messi, and some how got the deciding goal.

Love messi but he's no maradonna.
Maradonna would have grabbed this game by the sack and made sure he didn't leave the field not having gone into full beast mode.

Really didn't want Germany to win for purely selfish reasons, but I can't deny that they didn't deserve it. They were the best team in the competition. Feel sorry for Messi as he's still got that sword looming over him, but he didn't quite turn it up to 11 as he normally does. I think he just doesn't suit the Argentinian team, or perhaps they don't suit him.

Look, I love the guy when he's on song and still the best footballer in the world on a technical level but the attitude more or less throughout this tournament and generally for Argentina just gives the impression that he feels it's beneath him to even give moderate work ethic.
It's because he's lauded to the highest level possible which is why he will now take a bucket load of critique which will rightly come his way.
