Sadly true but if you look at East Germany it has been clearly lacking in their football teams, this could help them get strongerSounds like England. I'm sure half of us weren't born in sixty six.

People forget that Maradona didn't score in the final of 1986 so I don't see the difference too much in the situations.

He did...?But he did set up the winner in the last couple of minutes
Do Germans actually celebrate or do they shake hands and return home to bed ready for work tomorrow
Don't judge me, I didn't watch itBUt he did inspire them to the final then put in an excellent performance in the final despite being heavily marked and made a great pass to setup the winning goal.
So quite a different final performance.
But this is the point, it shouldn't be beneath him, he's been given the captaincy of his country, he's leading them in a world cup final. That shows either a week mentality, or if you are correct and he feels it's beneath him, then he will never be the best.Look, I love the guy when he's on song and still the best footballer in the world on a technical level but the attitude more or less throughout this tournament and generally for Argentina just gives the impression that he feels it's beneath him to even give moderate work ethic.
It's because he's lauded to the highest level possible which is why he will now take a bucket load of critique which will rightly come his way.
He did...?
Maradona has been far more influential for Argentina than Messi - that isn't really in doubt for me and Maradona didn't fanny around for most of the match in '86 final and whilst he was kept in check well by Matthaeus, he still at least made a crucial assist.People forget that Maradona didn't score in the final of 1986 so I don't see the difference too much in the situations.
Fuck me some German girls are hot
