Some knee-jerking expected after today's result and I can't criticise it.

Today's performance was absolutely sub-standard and there is no excuse for it.

There is something seriously wrong with any manager who watched Chiriches play today and did not sub him after 30 minutes.
My guess is he didn't want to totally destroy him after his last horror show against WB.

But I agree, he should have come off. Don't want to see him there again tbh.

I hope Verts and Fazio are not selected for the Forest game. Save them for the NLD and all league games in general.

United and Liverpool also lost this weekend, it's been a strange start to the season. Yes, we were incredibly poor today but there is still a long way to go. Fazio and Verts should be our 1st choice cb pairing, Walker right back and Davies left back. Lamela kept trying to showboat way too much. Need to keep it fast and simple. The lad has got the skill, but he overplayed it a lot. Ade couldn't even get his head on the ball, how?! What I don't understand, is how this same XI played so well going forward last week. What happened to that performance and the one v QPR? We've shown we ae capable, but for whatever reason we don't do it consistently.

This bunch of players really are a bunch of lazy delicate flowers who know at the end of the day the manager will take the blame.. not to say Pochettino didn't make mistakes today with starting Chiriches ahead of Jan & picking Ade after last wks performance the substitutions were baffling, I do really feel sorry for anyone who has to coach this lot, you might as well be banging your head against a wall than expect them to show some fight.. Do they care ?.. I doubt it

2 banks of 4-is it so tough to realise that pace is the answer? And that Lennon isn't?
Only good thing about this game is (I hope) that MoPo will never, ever again pick Chiriches and Lennon. Kaboul did not play like the club captain-he could not care less-how much did we get for Dawson?
Manager and his selections 100% to blame. Do not ever play 4-5-1 at home again. We will play more WBAs than Liverpools this season at home and it ain't looking good.

Seriously, you are blaming Aron Lennon for this?

Brilliant

I think the mistake we have made is going into the season with Ade and Soldado as our main strikers.

We should have taken a loss on Soldado and got him out. Athletico or Valencia would have taken him.

We needed to bring in someone better suited for the PL.

Next mistake was not addressing the lack it midfield creativity. I know we "tried hard" for Schneiderlin as we did with Moutinho before him but when this type of player could change the face of our play so severely we need to be doing a little more than try hard.

The amount of arseholes who've fucked off out of the stadium, especially in the West Stand, annoys me as much as the result. How do people expect the players to give a shit if they don't?

Lazy players. Shit fans. What has happened to our club?

They paid good money to go and watch that crap rather than sitting at home on their computers posting crap in a forum.

We're going to get spanked by Arsenal next week

If it wasn't for Lloris and the ref missing Ade's handball today we'd have lost 3 or 4 nil as it is

We're shocking at the back with Kaboul and Chiriches (not to mention our full backs being so weak positionally)

From set plays our defending is awful and we leave players free all the time

Capoue has been shocking and Dembele was no better today

We have no pace, no power and no penetration up front, we don't even look like scoring goals. We were home to a team who had not one a game all season today and failed to carved out more than a half chance all afternoon

This is really hard to watch and we've not spent money wisely in the last few windows, we've turned the best squad I've ever seen into a weak, slow, group of players with no leaders, no fight and no compatibility to form a unit with our in and our transfers

What does it say that after all the money spent it took Lennon to come on to finally give us some attacking momentum and speed to actually give WBA something to think about?

Why did we buy Vlad? he's a nightmare at CB

I have and I'm right behind the manager. Its going to take time this. Forget top four four this season, its not happening.

Let Poch build, improve and create something here.

Didn't we finish just a win or so off a top four spot last season?

Didn't we sign seven players two seasons ago?

Just when does "taking time" end as an exvuse?

We should never have sacked AVB.

It's painful for the majority to admit, but its so evidentlly obvious its untrue.
I disagree, its easy to have an opinion like this when we are playing shit. AVB was tactically clueless too lets face it. Name the last Spurs manager that was tactically spot on?
It will get better I'm sure of it, it really hurts at the moment though. The players are to blame here not the manager.
