Yep. Looking at the squad we had after the window closed, it was obvious that we lacked the talent to make any sort of a mark in the league this season. Today's result is just water off a duck's back for me in all honesty. Dull, uninspired, gutless football...again. I'll continue to watch every game, and try to get to the Lane to cheer on the payers at every opportunity, but my expectation levels for this team are about as low as it can get.

Fingers crossed we'll get a change of owner and things get shaken up a bit. People say "better the devil you know", but when that devil has no ambition or willingness to strengthen the team...fuck it. We're going nowhere fast under ENIC/Levy/Lewis.

I'm exactly the same, I don't even really feel anything from this loss, the only bad thing is having to take all the banter from everyone. I do just wish there was a chance of us having matches against the top teams (and small obviously but I fear the worst against the bigger ones) where we put up a real fight and make it hard for them (like West Ham yesterday and Leicester today) even if we just lose out but I fear for numerous repeats of the recent Liverpool game throughout the season.

Southampton sold all their squad almost and still look miles ahead of us. We sell one player 16 months ago and we just become even more shit. A dire club to support, a curse I won't be passing onto my children.

Hilariously, some people thought that a highly experienced Dutch coach coming to the PL would struggle with the complexities of the league. Koeman has them well organized and playing well. They'll end up matching their point total from last season, if not bettering it once Rodriguez comes back.

In midweek the excuse was a bumpy pitch and hostile atmostphere......today we were at home pretty much injury free against a winless club.

The rot runs deep and two or three more performances like this and we all know the end game.

Pointless ENIC building a new stadium when they need to build a new team.

Who is scouting and buying players at Spurs because they are doing a really shite job!

The problem is that the players don't care enough and are not doing their job. And our manager has to take the blame as well, no point in bringing in new players if we ain't gonna play them. Especially when the centre half's are clearly not up to the job. Not even going to start on the other ones. Play verts and give Bobby a run of games as ade is going through the motions AGAIN

Our players for a long while have also been a bunch of fucking un-coachable/teachable IDIOTS. Seem's to be a culture of dumb in the Spurs dressing room - a few intelligent players would be damn helpful.

Our players have what I like to call the "Vietnam Glaze", their eyes glass over and all information goes out of the window whenever confronted with an unsafe or stressful situation rather than look determent and focused and accessing the correct information (aka scumming to what the US military call a "stress situation".)

Blah ranting, but as others have said, next week will be a scary one.

Only gripe I have is not buying a striker. That is going to cost us so many points

Heads gone massively. Not the manager, not the chairman, not the fans, it's the fucking players. You can sack whoever you want but it's the ****s on the green bit that have to take responsibility

One good performance against a frankly garbage QPR and we were raving. It's simply not good enough and it's the same old shite we've been treated to again.

Last week we got served up not finishing the game off and being punished, the week before smashed against a rival again (who are still not great), struggling against the team bottom of the league (for a reason), at home and looking a shower of shite. Another set piece conceded. We literally see it every season.

Hundreds of millions of talent in the squad and it's all shite. We continue to support and protect the players but they need calling out now. THEY aren't good enough, no excuses. Step up or piss off.

Can't blame the EL considering none of the outfield players started midweek. Absolute rubbish yet again.

Why buy a successful defender (albeit in Spain) and then leave him out of the squad for the chuckle brothers. Kaboul is past it and Vlad isn't good enough
I honestly believe that pooch does not have full control of picking the team.

I cant understand why the same shit gets picked week in and week out.

Back to the time of Sir Alan in transfer market, buying and picking Europe's cheapest.

4-2-fucking 3-1 does not work with us...

I feel sorry for pooch, I feel sorry for players like Eriksen, Lamela... well, so many players who have come here and had there careers rot away.

I blame this all on Levy... He needs to fuck off.

Booing your players is NEVER right.
Fans are entitled to show their disgust with what was served up in front of them. It works both ways and if they get applauded and cheered for a good game they should get booed for a shit performance. The players should stop and realize how bad that display was instead of just getting changed and going home to enjoy the rest of their Sunday.

I think the mistake we have made is going into the season with Ade and Soldado as our main strikers.

We should have taken a loss on Soldado and got him out. Athletico or Valencia would have taken him.

We needed to bring in someone better suited for the PL.

Next mistake was not addressing the lack it midfield creativity. I know we "tried hard" for Schneiderlin as we did with Moutinho before him but when this type of player could change the face of our play so severely we need to be doing a little more than try hard.

Unfortunately I'm not sure Atletico would have taken Soldado given the response of their fans when they were linked. Valencia I've no idea, but they did well to get Negredo on loan.

But as for the rest of your post, bang on. Our midfield's dross is absolutely killing us. Likable guys each with qualities of their own, but Christ do we lack creativity and drive forward. To hell with physicality at this point, we have got to find someone willing to get the ball forward or this shit will continue.

We needed pace on the wings. It's as simple as that for me. Kaboul and Vlad don't work together and should not be our defensive pairing if we can avoid it. It's easy playing a team that spreads out giving us space to exploit through the middle. But playing a team that crowds out the middle without options on the wings just doesn't cut it. The game changed a bit when Lennon came on but it was too little too late for me. I just want to forget about this game now.

Bad day at the office, every team has them.
Man City 0 Stoke 1 see it happens.
I knew these days would happen and the team gets panned, rightly so, it was awful.
The season is long though and there will be other upsets, that's why the EPL is considered the most entertaining league.
I have faith in MP and judgement comes in May not September.

This post stands out a mile in here lol

I don't see why I'm deluded. I've said it will take a season for him to get his ideas into the boneheads here and another summer window to do his final tweaking.

Level 'delusion' at me at the end of the season and we'll discuss it then.;)

Can you explain to me what kind of "tweaking" Pochettino can do with a no net spend transfer policy?

Think that should be a wake up call not just for team but for the fans. Especially the ones who think its our god given right to smash everyone who is in bottom half.

Just pure arrogance, and not realistic in the slightest. Our fans becoming just as arrogant some other teams and can see why we are hated.
