Can't worry about city mate there is massive daylight between us and them it's between them and Utd, we will struggle to get top four with this inability to see off average teams and I don't believe Wembley is the factor here.

I just hope we don't lose too much of our first 11 when we miss out on CL football and end with no trophies, especially after they will see Walker live the title and probably a few other cups.
So fed up and seriously falling out of love with football now with the oil men buying trophies.
I just want us to win stuff and we are never going to unless we change our approach to the smaller trophies, we cant think we can win titles/CL yet, we are miles away from that and Poch is naïve if he doesn't realise that

Top three wil be Man City, Man U and Chelsea, in that order. When we play our best, we are better than both Man U and Chelsea, but they are more solid than us (this season). You can't drop points home against teams like Swansea, Burnley and WBA and expect glory. Sadly, I think we wont be playing in the CL next season.
We will, but only providing we address the obvious issues within the squad. I don't think we will mind.

No we didn't. We only dropped home points twice and one of those was against Liverpool. The difference was being at the Lane, having Dembele more often, consistently having a wide threat from Rose and Walker, and Dele being in form.
We had our best winning streak and played our best football without either Rose or Walker in the team.

Eriksen looked absolutely fucked today. He'll have to start again on Tuesday and again next Saturday. We desperately need Lamela fit cos Eriksen is getting run into the ground. Today's Eriksen is not worth starting but we've got no one to bring in similar to give him a much needed rest. Honestly may as well have started Edwards today.

So poch needs to take a long hard at himself because he didn't put an untested 18 year old and a player who's been out for 13 months and played 60 mins of semi professional on the bench?
If it were the first time we'd ever had this problem I'd agree with you, but it's the same fucking thing every time we come up against a team in the bottom half of the table.

The players and tactics Poch throws out there time and again have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt to be insufficient for this type of match. So yes, he does need to fucking try something else, even if (God forbid!) that means putting a bit of trust in some of the most talented players in one of the best academies in the country.

Not good enough, 5 mins added time was a complete joke, refs performance was fucking terrible and our performance (first half especially) was utterly shit.

When are they going to start investigating these refs or sacking them for more competent officials? The amount of time wasting going on by West Brom was a joke.
If our performance was better than all of that would be irrelevant.

I agree it needs punishing though.

People moaning about trippier, should focus on erriksen and Ali, they were absolute garbage from start to finish.

More points dropped against the dregs of the league. Poch needs to have a long, long look at himself.

It was so fucking predictable. We have struggled in every single match of this type and Poch hasn't even attempted to change anything. What would we have to lose by putting Edwards or Shashoua on the bench? Why not throw KWP, the best dribbler in first team reckoning, on to see what happens?

We all knew we'd be crying out for some creativity or trickery come the hour mark and yet, nothing. It's fucking disgraceful.

Bournemouth, Palace and Burnley laid down the blueprint for WBA on how to play us. I don't care what anyone on here says, those four teams and their managers have learned more about how to play us than Poch has done about how to play them.

His limitations as a coach are beginning to show, when teams press us high (like Woolwich did) and against teams who defend in numbers. We will not secure a top four spot if he continues to set out the side to play at home in the same style, no way.

Clearly the impediment is playing at a stadia we never have played in consistently before

A handicap no one else has

Its gonna be a hard season

If we were still on the small pitch we'd be close second to city

It took poch a year to crack how to break teams down at the lane

It may take as long again for wemberley

Wonder how long it is until watching wether West Ham get relegated or not will be the most exciting thing still going on in the League from our perspective:cry::cry::cry:

Well that was shit ... and I'm only talking about the mobile network connection at Wembley.

Diabolical goal to concede that allowed WBA to waste time as they pleased. A miracle it took 82 mins for Foster to get booked. Ref must have deliberately waited so long so he knew he would'nt have to produce the red.

We as usual struggled to break down 10 defenders + GK. I'd rather play Aurier and Rose against teams that sit so deep because I feel they stretch play and try to move behind better than Trippier and Davies. A decent goal but we wasted so many good opportunities through dallying and allowing them to regain shape. Poor game from us.

Burnley. Swansea. Bournemouth. Palace. WBA. At what fucking point does it cease to be a knee jerk? If you don't believe we have a serious problem against teams that sit in a low block then you've got your head buried in the sand.

I agree some of it is over the top, but we wont be top 4 come the end of this weekend IMO.
We have dropped points at home to Burnley, Swansea, West Brom
We are out the league cup.

Poch wanted PL or CL, he aint getting either so he has fucked up by throwing the league cup and he needs the FA Cup. I love Poch and am not a fan saying he needs to be questioned - those fans are a joke after what he has done but equally you cant sit there and say your happy this season as I am not, we have already lost more games than we did all of last season

Some fans are just realistic and you cant moan at them for wanting the team to win, for me it is not Poch it is our transfer business that is fucking us over every year

I would love to hear from @JJetset as to what happened on deadline day with the signing of Llorente and not Pace.... I would rather have Jansen or Soldado than Llorente, he is just a big pile of shit

But we all knew at the start of the year Wembley would be tough, teams raise their game, it may be their only game at the national stadium in front of 70000+ fans.

I saw many (including me) saying top 4 would be a great season (+ maybe a trophy) but now everyone's acting like it's some kind of surprise. It's not a problem with the team it's a problem with the stadium and I can't wait till we get out of that shithole

It's a huge overreaction and I don't care but why on earth isn't the clock stopped when the ball is out of play or there is a stoppage? Reduce the game to 80 minutes.

The stickers are starting to peel off the Dele Alli hype train.
Some of us never even saw that train. Has moments of exceptional effectiveness but they mostly entail actions without the ball and in attack. Outside of that his footballing ability is questionable and always has been. And no matter what any of the fan boys say those moments do not make up for the other 89 minutes of fuckery.

We had our best winning streak and played our best football without either Rose or Walker in the team.
But we constantly had the central threat. At no stage that I can recall did we have no Rose, no Walker, no Dembele, and an out-of-form Dele. Normally we had one of the two fall-backs and both Dembele and Dele playing well. Our attacking options right now are limited and predictable.

Sorry mate, I'm a Lamela fan through and through and I was terribly disappointed to not see him even appearing on bench today.

Just better to not count on him for now, or at least till new year IMHO..

Why do someone always feel the need to enter a football forum telling ppl that vent their frustration to shut up? People absolutely justified to moan after another performance like that
