A win is a win. Well done everyone. Bring on city, free game for us and I think we can surprise them.

Don’t blame Wembley. We could have been struggled to score at WHL when Sissoko had played in midfield. This guy is not a footballer.

Also Winks need to step up as well as he always picks the easiest passes and lacks creativity and pace.

I knew we won but if we want silverware these area must need improving

Not going to complain about that.

I wish kane and Eriksen would sort out the free kick thing, its getting close to being as unprofessional as players squabbling over a penalty. I also think its seriously pissing Eriksen off.

Eriksen has no divine right to claim the freekicks in my book.

He's been shit at them for quite sometime. He's obviously not confident with them either. Always seems happy to hand them over to Dier or Kane.

Sissoko played fine. Only a complete fucking idiot would blame the entire performance tonight on him.

Come on, don't do a Klopp or Pep and criticise a smaller team for parking the bus. For what they are they have done very well this season.
Exactly, they'll play the top 6 like that and the other 13 teams they'll play their normal game.
They've just been promoted yet people expect them to be hung ho in every game, it'll do fuck all for their morale if they're going for 4 or 5 nil against us.

Not the best performance, but we found a way and got the 3 points so can't complain at all. We didn't play great against Swansea, Burnley or WBA either but regardless 3 points would have been great in those games so I don't feel right digging into this performance too much really when we at least saw the game out with a win.

You only have to look at the rest of the teams results to see how difficult everyone can potentially find it when teams just come and park a double decker bus. Is it more of a trend this season or are we just noticing it more because it's being done to us more? Is is because of the 5 at the back that every team seems to adopt now?

I think there is a genuine argument for not playing Sissoko against teams who park the bus, he slows us down far too much and kind of congests the space in the centre of the pitch.

Some of the posts in here, you would have thought we lost.

Scored two, kept a clean sheet for the first time in the league for ages, our rivals dropped points, no injuries, job done.

3 points clean sheet, back to 4th.
Why am I so depressed at the way we played.
Could have easily been a draw or worse.
No pace, little movement, no invention.

they parked the bus and we all got on
and said 'terminus please'
one lucky goal, one slightly fortunate
and about as exciting as going down Tescos with the missis.

We've seen so many promoted teams "trying to play football" and I don't think any have been successful.

Not a performance to remember but in the end it was comfortable enough. I didn't see the second goal coming for us but nor was I worried about the clean sheet. Brighton defended really well and their keeper was good on crosses. In the first half Knockaert had room to carry the ball into but after half time they couldn't break away as much.

Given the other results this has been an excellent few days.

I repeat. Most people were pleased at the line up.........So when it doesn't go according to plan, it's either blame Sissoko, Dele, Aurier or whoever, blame Poch's tactics, subs or whatever OR, admit to oneself that we don't actually have the faintest idea about football at the highest level and are a bunch of guessing windbags and that ain't ever gonna happen is it? :D

Fucking Deleissoko :cautious:

We're back up to 4th.
Great results last 2 games.
Let's hope we can do the same on Saturday.

2 nice straightforward home wins, something we have been lacking this season
Liverpool have only got 2 points against poor teams at home
Scum 2 points against poor teams away
Good few days

tbh I'm just bitter at how successful teams are at parking the bus against us this season
