Think the atmosphere tonight is going to be great. Two goals for Kane and he beats Terry Henry's record, three and he beats van Persie's, and four and he beats the world's least convincing angry pundit, Shearer. In an ideal world he scores three tonight, and then the winner at the weekend against City.

I think everyone will be cold tonight and the atmosphere will be shit unless we go 3 goals up. In which case it will improve a bit but then people will just feel comfortable. And still cold.

Score early and score first, hopefully it's decent, only the second game i've had tickets to this season after 1-1 draw with WBA.

What are Henry and RVPs records?

34 and 35 goals in a calendar year. Shearer 36. Kane 33 not out.
Ah OK. I see I thought it was about something else. Hadn't seen their stats mentioned before. Shearer's is the only one that matters though.

If we let Glenn Murray score against us, we should all be committing suicide...

Looks like, he may not start today. Hughton said he will make 3 or 4 changes with Burnley weekend game in mind. Their fans say they may not field their best XI today.

Some here talking about us scoring 3 or more - I will take a terrible performance but a scrappy 1-0 win now

Hat trick tonight and he'll go all out on the weekend against City to beat the record. He's due a hat trick also - one this season is a poor return from him so far ;)

With Eriksen looking visibly tired & inconsistent at present, Lamela has to soon hit form. Hopefully he starts today & puts in a good performance.

With city at the weekend I can see us rotating quite heavily and expecting to see Sissoko & Lamella both make an appearance.

Big one for me will be if Jan plays... already without Sanchez & Toby but Jan is one yellow away from a suspension and we’ll need him available and on top form against City.

They’ve got someone worse than Murray? Christ that guy must have one leg or something.
