MNF is all we have for good insightful football conversation, the rest is generic bullshit.

Souness talking about the style of play today, has he not watched how 95% of teams play vs Man City?

How any times have we beaten them using the same template?

I wish English football analysis and general conversation was on the level of other sports.

First ever row with my Mrs after 20 years of marriage.
.
She had a pop at me for screaming my bleeding head off when we scored the Kane goal which was VAR disallowed because I made her jump with fright.

Went quiet after that but when H headed home that winner all hell broke loose with me shouting & yelling, more grief from her so I rather loudly and angrily said "Right I'll watch the fucking matches in the other room from now on then"
.
A few minutes later she said "I'm glad they won" Which was her apology.

Still gonna watch in the other room from now on though. The cowson.

If it's your TV, she can go and make you a fucking sandwich.

Change rooms indeed.

My word that was up there and have to say above Leicester for who it was! I lost the plot running like a madman when I thought Kane made it 3-1 then when VAR ruled it out, the deflation went back to elation at the end!

Like the look of the new additions here against that opposition showed their class. Must admit our hold over Citeh is a pleasure ever since that CL quarter final, get in!!!

I really do detest these reports and their constant badgering with these types of questions.

If I was the club I’d complain and ban them.
What you’d ban the broadcaster? I don’t think it’s that simple mate :ROFLMAO:

Half of our fans can’t get over his antics in the summer, you can hardly expect the media to.

I thought Dier back made a massive difference, so much more solid. Him & Romero brillaint and Emerson and Sess and Davies defended well too. PEH back made a big difference in front of them, Kulu was disciplined and Hoddle/Kane and Son were as usual brillaint :)

Souness is an idiot. Is he suggesting we play like that every week? Just showing his ignorance

"Manchester City captain Ilkay Gundogan, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: “We kind of thought we’d rescued it. If you look at the whole game we deserved to win"

My response? "Go fuck yourself"

It’s nights like this that makes the drop off in performance in others games so painful. We believe because we know we can be so much better. Conte needs to bring the consistency of performance that Poch had achieved. Pride follows. After that, we can finally build again.

I think MOTD will probably cut you from the show tonight. Maybe 2 good 2 bad tomorrow.

Brilliant team performance. With a bit more luck in our side we could have won that game 4-0 or 4-1. Lloris 9 out of 10 times holds onto that ball and they don’t score; DK marginally offside or Kane’s goal counts for 3; it’s was always going to be given but it wasn’t an intentional handball as his hand is coming down as he slides and hits the ball.
This the frustrating thing about Tottenham. They can put in a brilliant display like today away against the Champions who were unbeaten in 12 ( only dropped 2 points)after two abject displays in our last 2 home games.
This is Conte’s real task.; to make us more consistent.

Does make a difference when we have players that can put a decent cross in.

If that had been Royal or Doherty putting the cross in it would have sailed over Kane or gone out for a goal kick.
