What was really satisfying, after city scored the penalty the commentator creaming himself how 'City never settle for a point' because there was still 7 minutes of added time left to play.

We went and took a big fat turd on that script.
He was right...they settled for NO points!

I don't think I've seen "fury" (that is a bit hyperbolic, no?)
Mate there was one poster on here saying how angry he was getting at Craig Pawson's (he actually called him ****) facial expressions, and someone else started a thread on Craig Pawson and saying how he must never be allowed to referee any of our matches ever again....it's just stupid.

My interpretation of Pawson's grimace was that he was looking at Walkers' defending and thinking bleeding hell he's the England right back forget the world cup......... :)

Watched MOTD for the first time this season & although it's probably extremely petty of me to think it was an unnecessary poke.

When they showed the stat with Kane & Son leading the goal combination chart, that twat Lineker couldn't help himself. "But they've got no trophies".

Why does that matter when showing the best strike partnerships? Just didn't think it was necessary.
Think Lineker was being ironic?

I doubt there was anything in it but it is fun to speculate..........until you realise he is the VAR ref tomorrow night and then the actual referee on Saturday v Leeds!

Not for nothing, but on that first goal, Ederson blatantly fouls Sonny in the box as he's passing to Kulu. Advantage played or not, he should've been booked for that.

Anyone have footage of the offside lines on the disallowed third goal? All I have seen is some tight poor tv pics without a proper angle?
