I’m just going to let go of any hope that we are a top 4 team anymore and go back to the late 90s when I was just happy with a top half finish. Hope we can nick a win against Arsenal now and then and hope players like Dozzell can become the new Gazza.

Got to have big hope for the summer transfer window because the players we've got can't play Conte's game. Borough had more possession than us, just, which people tell me is fine because the way we play we exploit that but we didn't exploit that and didn't look like doing so. Now if you play a possession game and it's not being effective at least you are minimising the opposition's possession so they have less opportunity to score. If however, you give away possession and can't make it count they've basically got all game to keep coming at you and you will eventually lose, it's a high risk system, and it's obviously too bloody high for us.
If this is as good as it gets I don't care if Conte goes because without the players to make it work there's no point him being here and we may as well play the percentage game.

It’s why our issues are far deeper rooted than just signing a load of new players. We’ve got good players who consistently crumble under any sort of pressure. Time and time again we fluff opportunities to capitalise in the league and always mess up cup win chances. “We need a new RWB” “We need a new CM”...okay cool but is that suddenly going to stop players throwing absolute stinkers like today. If we as fans can just feel things like this happening perhaps the whole club including the players mentally are in the same boat.

First time I've questioned Conte. Got it all wrong. How he left Son on is just baffling. And Winks, fk I'd rather see someone from u21s play.
