They should put a big screen on the south podium and open up South stand bars and sell 5-10k tickets. Would be a mega piss up if all goes ok.
Would never happen with Arsenal at home

When do Sky announce the games?

I think we'll end up nipping a sweaty draw, because we're Spurs and it's never straightforward.

Luckily that will be enough no matter what.

No no no... please no. It must be a 3 plus goal advantage. You saw what a 0-0 scoreline AT HOME against Brighton did in the 89th minute.

Damn I'm nervous....but I know why... its a once off game no more games to still recover the situation. Let's stop this draw nonsense. For love of all things holy.... let's not complicate out loves and give the Gooners any chance.

Who remembers that United game where they thought they won the title and City scored in the dying seconds to take it.... well I don't want Arsenal having even a sniff.

They are not announcing until Friday but they are showing 3 games. Man City and Liverpool will be 2 and atm likely to be Leeds as the 3rd but results tonight and tomorrow could change that.

God this is going to be a long week...

I've seen Norwich highlights from a few of their recent games and, while they often get destroyed, they do have a tendency to create chances. They could've very easily taken the lead against Leicester and have had similar opportunities against other teams.

I'm just dreading us falling behind to an early chance and then losing our heads.

That said, given the experience in the squad, Conte motivating the team all week (he'll murder all of their first borns if we lose) and the general level of Norwich....let's just say there's a very good reason they're 12/1 with the bookies.

Just want it to be over though ?

They create a lot of very good chances but are not clinical whatsoever. Let's hope that doesn't suddenly change against us ?

Putting all the past history and current pressures aside. We have earned the right to be in this position going into our last game of the season. We are good enough to be in this position and deserve every moment of it

We have one match to secure CL football next season-beating Arsenal to the line is just a bonus.

Last nights result will galvanise the players and they will understand the golden opportunity presented to them.
Beating Norwich is not a given and we have no right believing we just need to turn up. 100% professional performance and accepting this game is what we've been battering for in last few weeks. We should get the right result. We've come too far to fall apart now.

For me finishing ahead of the Arse and being the 4th best team in the land is the aim. I don't see the CL as the be all and end all.

I think we will win easily on Sunday.

You're probably right but I'm 60 years a Spurs fan this week. 62 Cup final drew me in to a lifetime of pessimism! Thing is I'm quite happy with Europa League but it would be nice to outdo L'Arse again.
Winning a cup final lead you to a life time of pessimism?

If nobody else in the UK can broadcast it how/why can the club?

We still have the same supposedly dodgy defenders as in Sanchez, dier and Davies though

Just they ain’t dodgy anymore
I always said you could have stuck prime Ledley and Rio behind Winks and Sissoko and they would have looked shit.

We are better at protecting the defenders now leaving them to do their job.

I'm dreading us going 1-0 down because I'll shit myself, not because we'll lose our heads though. Have we lost our heads once since Conte arrived? I'm not sure we have. For better or worse we at least always seem to play in a calm manner. And even though this is a special circumstance, I still can't that changing. The only thing that does worry me in terms of footballing performance is that we play out a match similar to the Brentford away one, where we all know how important the three points are and we play in that lethargic fashion where we can barely craft out a chance.

The good thing is that Norwich aren't as good as those sides where that has happened so really, there should be at least a few chances for us in the match and in us not even needing a win, we only have to take so many of them.

I actually don't greatly fear us losing, I fear being put through agonising periods if we do go a goal down or if it's still 0-0 by the 60th minute or something though. I basically just really hope it ends up being comfortable viewing. The last 10 minutes of the Burnley game for instance was scary as fuck to watch.

My worry is a moment of madness resulting in a red card, probably a good job Romero isn’t playing, closely followed by Pukki & Krull having worldies.

Apologies if we are not allowed betting talk, however:

Norwich are 12/1 and Arsenal are 1/2

If you put them in a Double, it's almost 19/1.

I have stuck £50 on it, so if we do fuck it up, at least my season ticket for next season will be paid for....

Yeah to be honest my fears aren't based on anything rational - just years of watching Spurs.

3-0 down to Young Boys within half an hour.
5-1 to 10 man Newcastle on the final day.
5-2 to United after being 2-0 up.
Countless draws, losses and struggles against feeble European and lower league teams.

Liverpool lost this season to a second string Leicester team with a makeshift defence.
A good Man United team lost to Steve Kean's Blackburn Rovers.

And the list goes on.

We don't look like that team under Conte but football is football and Spurs are Spurs. Will be shitting myself all week regardless of the fact that we're massive favourites and should win or at least draw.

That's a good shout actually. Think I'll do the same!
