The second half was good but Conte is to blame for the tactical blunder of the first half. This liverpool side is fragile and it's a nonsense to sit off them. Compound that with an insistence on playing non-footballer Royal and you get the types of flat mistake-ridden performances we've been seeing in 1st halves all year. I'm tired of people suggesting Royal somehow makes up for it with his defending nous. He has none of that either.

That 2nd half period before the goal was helter skelter. Once we had Kulu on and Royal off, we had control and it took 90secs to score. But we leave ourselves mountains to climb with the first half choices to play timidly.

Who should he pick then? Please tell me from the options available what he should do? Some people are utterly baffling.

This goes beyond inconsistent officiating. This is literally the same guy making a different decision within 24 hours for the exact same situation. It’s fucked up.

We actually played very well. Dier screwed us as did the ref non stop. What the VAR team were doing is anyones guess. Embarrassing officiating mixed with poor finishing gifted Liverpool the win

Kulusevski transformed us. With him, Son and Richarlison back, Bissouma up to speed, and (hopefully) Conte and Paratici realising we need better CBs and a RWB urgently), we can storm the second half of the season.

Do we have a psychologist at the Club? Clearly there is some mental issue. Its unbelievable how our mentality shifts after half time.
