22 of 28 touches in opposition box in 2nd half...
I don't know why Lucas didn't see that coming and dip his head down to ensure contact was made. Every other attacker in the league would have. I can name at least 4 Liverpool players who would have won a penalty there. We got robbed. Nothing more needs to be said. A push in the back = penalty. A kick in the head = penalty.
Haha, I missed that luckily. Only tuned in at ht. Apparently we had a stonewall penalty disallowed in the first half?Because of the first 45 minutes.
Not if they are TAA and Thiago. Other players not from the top 6 more likely.Stupid defending aside, we should have won that. Frustrating.
Still think the Trent push and Thiago high boot would both be given as penalties on another day too.
I think we were poor first half. I think we try and stay compact and look to counter too deep in the first half relying on a tight defence but we were second to everything. We weren't actually that bad in the first half. Definitely a shift from defending from the edge of our own area. Conceded a soft goal and then an individual error.
Lost count on how many times we got into promising positions on the right and left flank only for royal and sessegnon to squander all of those opportunities.
Very good 2nd half. Seems to be the new spursy thing now. But let's not get ahead of ourselves - We were at home to a Liverpool team that's currently a million miles from its best. Work in progress
Without knowing how fit Doc is it’s hard to understand why he didn’t start
We can blame. Poor referee! Can’t blame the referee. Usual culprits making costly errors and Conte continues to pick them. As I said, have we really made significant progress over the last year?

Doesn’t matter if we had ten attackers. The pint is we have a coach who is scared and does nothing until we are in trouble … which happens in almost every match. He is defensively minded and has always been. He will never change so the grind goes onI don’t understand the moaning about the lack of attackers — of the available options, who would you have selected instead? Bryan Gil given his full PL debut against Klopp’s Liverpool in place of the experienced Perisic?
Don't know about any of you, but I'm taking a lot of positives from that.
