They are very slick going forward but we haven’t put any pressure on them defensively, we’re so passive everywhere.

Positive things from the first half:
- I found some leftover shortbread from Xmas
- Sarr didn't look too shabby
- PEH's pointing game was on point
- We conceded 1 less goal than I thought we would
- Son conserved almost all of his energy for the 2nd half
- Sess showed the Make-a-Wish foundation that one's dreams can come true... regardless of ability.

This team still looks so far from a Conte team. Only a takeover can build it. The whole backline with the exception of Romero needs replacing. So tired seeing these same players let us down. We're not getting anywhere starting Lloris, Dier, Lenglet, Sess and Doherty.

Fuck me, it don't take a good team to move the ball against us, on this showing... I really don't think there moving it that quickly, we're just making it look that way? ..... And yes agree are playing that shit ?

No surprise they targeted our left side. Sess is picked for his pace I assume to deal with Saka, but has been given the so solute run around all half and is constantly out of position. The first five mins set the tone. Two great chances to drive forward in space and he just dollied shot crosses into the first man with 30 yards of space ahead of him. I cannot wait for Udogie to get here.
You cannot look anywhere but Lloris for that half. He’s our captain and supposed to set the tone. That first goal, he seemed scared of the ball and absolutely fannies it in his own net. Appalling. Then gets beat from range with a strike that’s not even in the corner.
Crowd need to get on it the second half.

TBF it's not just the scum, we are always afraid of putting up challenges and pressing this season. Before WC we have the excuse of not expanding the energy with fear of injury. This can't be right now after WC we are still meek like a team of eleven Sess.

This is completely totally and absolutely on Conte. The system is terrible. We give away the middle of the park by playing 5 at the back, and then exacerbate it by trying to play on the counter, giving away possession in the most dangerous areas.
We need to bring Poch back with instructions that we need to take the game to the opposition, play the Tottenham way, and attack.

Another big game where Hojbjerg has been absolute trash. I beg all the Hojbjerg lovers to keep defending him. Sarr has absolutely showed him up. Sarr and Bentancur need to start vs City. I’ve absolutely had enough of seeing this average cart horse wear our shirt and the simulation attempt at the end of the half topped it off. Can’t compete so he wants to cheat, disgraceful

Agree completely. Like a lot of senior management in a lot of businesses he thinks the lack of adequate workforce can be made up for with a quality manager and same as in these other businesses he is wrong.
