Welcome to the Spurs Vs Arsenal Match Thread! COYS!

We want to bring the joy back into match days as these threads have just become full of over the top from at least a handful of posters. While we understand and have the same frustrations on the team and the performances the constant beating on the same players for just being picked is tiresome the same with going over how we didn't get more players in during the transfer window. We would rather not limit peoples access to this thread, so please before you hit post just read your post back...

STREAMING SITES

We cannot allow the posting of links to Streaming sites/apps and as a result of that do not allow posts asking for them as they invariably result in someone posting a link. Please do NOT hint at having, post or ask for links to streaming sites. The latest 'clever' way around this is to drop hints. That'll have to stop too I'm afraid as again, it results in people posting links.

We play the way I know we can, we can win this. If we play the way we have been recently then we will be beaten again.

Conte having a week on the training pitch with the squad is huuuge.

Haven't had that luxury in a while.

We'll need the crowd on Sunday.

I feel like the NLD’s are always a big game but more recently they’ve been HUGE at our place.

Last season that win turned the tide in the race for 4th, let’s hope we get the win on Sunday which starts to derail legohead and his band of merry men’s season and gives our season a big kick up the arse.

If Kulu is back we have a chance, if we play well we have a chance. As good as Arsenal have been this season so far, the league is weak as fuck, no reason why we can’t win this if we play well.

Need Bentantcur and Kulu to boost our chances in this one, could also do with Son regaining some form.

I have a feeling this will be the turning of the tide, we are at are lowest ebb and arsenal are at their highest.

If we win suddenly there will be only 8 points difference (albeit arsenal with a game in hand).

I feel arsenal are always a match away from a meltdown. If we beat them, they have united next who could do em, they then a have a cup game with city.
3 defeats and out of the cup, an injury or two and things could get interesting.

Frankly I didn't expect them to be top still, but they have earned it. I still have massive doubts they'll be able to keep it up though.

Equally a loss for us at this stage could really be the killer blow. This game is our biggest of the season imo, this could make or break us.

I’d love for us to wipe that arrogant grin off of their collective faces. Hate to say it and big the Arse up, but this is our cup final this season. As has already been suggested, if we win this we can get right back into the mix for top four and build some momentum. Yes we would have more chance with Kulu and Bentancur in the squad, but we still have good enough players at home to do the job.

Low block and an overrun midfield 2 - field day for arse - take it to them and we have a chance - take our strengths to their weaknesses

Crowd needs to be like it was last season. Players need to be at it from the off. We can beat them. Kane double to break the record and win the game.

I’m very curious to see which of our injuried players make the starting 11. It’s a good bet that Bissuma will considering he’s already training with squad. I just don’t see Bentancur being ready if he hasn’t trained at all and I wonder if Kulu will start or be on the bench. Be great to have everybody back but I’m not convinced they will.

Been a long while since we've gone into a NLD this far behind them. It will be interesting to see how we cope.

Yeah I can’t see him starting. Frustrating but we need to go into it with a packed midfield. Benta being fit would have worked well as he can support attacks properly.
Newcastle did a job on them by packing midfield in a low block and then you look to counter them after stopping their quick 20-25 minute on slaught at the start of games

They start very fast we know that, look what happened away at Brighton for them very recently.

Quite simply, we cannot afford to start the first half slowly and in containment mode, it will backfire big time if we approach the game in this way as we will only have ourselves to blame because we can't say we shouldn't have seen it coming.

We do have a chance but we have to be aggressive and attack minded and brave we need players like Bentancur and Kulu back and to be at it which is a big ask given how little they've played for us recently.

I've also said it in another post, no way on earth can we be carrying any passengers in this game or we're done for and no way on earth do I want to see Martinelli matched up against Emerson Royal, that was mismatch of epic poriprtions that ultimately cost us in the corresponding NLD game at their place earlier in the season where he was repeatedly rinsed and embarrassed and he stupidly lashed out and got a debatable red card at a crucial stage of the game.

The crowd need to play their part and we need to play like a team possessed, evoke that spirit of last season at our place with the crowd and the players feeding off it and we most definitely have a shout COYS !

Im going to this, first time at the 'new' stadium cannot wait. Im yet to see us lose live so hopefully keep the run going.

Really need Kulu and Bentancur fit though if we're to stand any chance I feel.

I feel like we'll win comfortably, they are good but not quite the elite level team people have In their minds.

Sad they are so far ahead already but much of that is down to us having a perpetual injury crisis.

Based on what you have seen of us this season makes you think this?
