After 24 hours to calm down and recover from yesterday I took a look back at the game this evening. Yes we were sh1t in the first half and Arsenal controlled it. They had chances (Partey's thumper too) but the first goal was a total f up and the 2nd should never have been allowed to even happen. Ramsdale then pulls off a good save before the break. Second half we did play a lot better and yes you can say Arsenal allowed that but we had serious chances to come back and I do think one would have rumbled them. Arsenal may have then broken up the potch to put away a third but had we held firm at 2-1 with the returning Richarlison up for it we could have earned that equalizer leading to a possible crazy finish.
Of course that is all hindsight but my Scum supporting mate even said we weren't bad in the 2nd half (despite saying how the form they're in there was no way of us winning) and we weren't.
I am still p1ssed off but I do feel a bit better about things and when Bents gets back alongside a getting fitter Richarlison and Kulu, all hope is not lost. P.S. we do need 2 new ones in this month

Arsenal should of been 0-4 up at half time. They totally controlled us overloaded our midfield then sat back and reserved energy.

They came to our ground and dominated us. We need to reflect take stock and get better.

Keith Burkinshaw...says it all. You mentioned Pochittinho he was onto something special imo when he asked for financial backing / first choice players he was imo not fully trusted even though he managed to see us through the biggest revolution the club had seen with the stadium build and CL finalists. Sorry to keep on about Pochittinho for those reading but is telling how Levy keeps pulling tge wool over people's eyes.

It's not rocket science back the manager.
But surely Pochettino was backed. He bought Ndombele, Lo Celso, Sessegnon and Clarke for loads of money. Bad signings but I would imagine Poch’s choice. I love Poch and hope he will return one day.

I think backing the manager is more complex than simply giving them money.

There were a lot of stories during Poch's reign that he wanted to be more of a manager or DOF than a hands on coach. It seemed he wanted a lot more say in transfers and how we do our business.

This never happened.

It seems to me we either hire someone who wants to work in exactly the way the board wants or we hire a high quality manager and give them a lot of influence in all things regarding the first team squad.

We appear to do neither.

That is true. The other thing we need is a manager fully committed to us. With Conte I always feel he is looking over his shoulder for something he considers better and more worthy of him.

The thing with Conte is you know what you are getting from him. He is demanding and knows what he wants and he only signs short term contracts. If the board don't want that, don't hire him in the first place.

There have been media links to jobs like Juventus and Conte has never shown any sign of being ready to leave once a better offer comes along.

We have an opportunity to make a go of it and like always, Levy appears to be playing silly buggers and stopping it from happening.

He didn't exactly get long to work with them, remember Pochittinho first choice was Fernandez ahead of Lo Celso. Clarke was clearly a club signing....let's also be real those signings where basic however massive for Tottenham when you saw what other club were buying.

I promised myself not to go back and here we go. Question do / did you feel our managers are sufficiently backed in the transfer market?

So turns out they’ve found the guy and he’s 35 years of age. He must live in a hard water area?

he does look familiar.
