I think it will be tbh. Maybe Danjuma in there at LWB a wildcard option? Hardly any options given our injury problems regardless.

Not expecting big changes so my main hope is that we're properly up for it and play with more freedom and creativity, even if the formation and system is broadly the same.

Half the problem with Conte was the fact that he's so damn rigid and wants to micromanage every pass, so I'm hopeful we'll look better if the players are allowed to take the handbrake off and take some more risks.
I’ve wondered if that’s why Stellinis record is good in previous games, when Conte hasn’t been there

Looking forward to getting totally overpowered in midfield tonight, followed by a rigid commitment to 3-4-3 lol. Can’t wait to get new manager in just to mix up formation/starting 11 if nothing else!

My guess - its two things - club captain, and these are probably Hugo's last 10 games with the club.

I agree Forster deserves the start based on form. But, players rarely lose their spot in the XI due to injury. If Lloris is healthy, he was always likely to start.

If Forster deserves to start, he should start. We're in a proper scrap now for whatever we can get and sentimentality is weak minded.

Fully expecting a Lloris clanger
Sadly i agree i love Lloris and has been a great servant but i think its time for a change at number 1.
Think Everton will be closing down every back pass against him knowing its his weakness and will put 2 men against him at corners as again another weakness.

2 GK on bench suggests to me Hugo isn't back to 100% yet, good to have a safety net just in case

In fairness, Nagelsmann hasn't been announced by Chelsea yet :ROFLMAO:

Yet! I’m no lower league agent but when Chelsea want something they spend there way out of trouble.

As soon as the whistle went with Chelsea V Villa that’s when the Nagz era started.

I think we just have too many injuries plus academy is playing city at the same time so can't take more than devine and mundle

What exactly were people expecting?

That is the best line-up we could hope for - given the circumstances.

Maybe you have a good argument for Forster over Lloris - but club captain, when healthy, is going to start.

Yep, on paper we should win the game comfortably. If we lined up as defensively as Everton we would be crying.

It all comes down to our mentality, do we get the couldn’t give a damn approach that we saw in the last 20 mins against Southampton or the fired up players we saw months ago in the second half against Palace?

Heads down and our season is done. Heads up and we should win this by 2-3 goals.

Wow. Same old same old. Except Lloris unfairly getting a recall. Horribly weak bench. Not good at all.
