I don’t think it’s good that Lloris has walked straight back in and maybe that is indictment of our mentality as a club where certain players get very cushy knowing they start.

Forster has done very well in his absence and should have been allowed to continue to build up you have to win back place with performance mentality.

As Lloris is back in team I do however hope he has a fantastic game back!

Bit concerned about Perisic at left wing back, although not much other choice unless we’d gone with a back four and tried Lenglet there.

Might be a bit too soon for Stellini to tear up the team so ambitiously though.

Plus I have Porro in my fantasy football team so good he’s played as advanced as possible!

Mildly surprised at Hugo start but it could be that the coach's consideration is something more about leadership on the field or mentality. Yes, you would think FF creates more certainty and confidence in the back but who knows.

What i do expect is the team to play with more freedom and as a consequence, be far more effective than in recent games. The more you read about Conte's mentality over the last few months you more likely it was that the players were struggling with the system of play and the atmosphere in the locker room. Too big of a feedback loop amplifying a mistake and turning it into a poor performance.

COYS and may today be the start of a glorious new chapter in our history.
