Maybe not leaving us outnumbered in central midfield when neither of them are great in possession might be an idea. I’m not asking for us to be title contenders, but I wouldn’t mind being able to keep possession against Sheffield United reserves or Everton down to 10 men. Maybe our standards differ

Outnumbered… we had an extra man 😂

Joking aside, and not taking any blame away from the players, it must be tough to play under Stellini now.

I imagine the players are seething over Conte's outburst and for Stellini to stick around must lead to a funny atmosphere. Imagine things are pretty rotten in there at the moment.
Another good point. Keeping CS on was strange and it has played out to be totally bizarre.
CS is rooted in Conte, That was exactly the same as the Saints game.

Let's just pause for a sec, and look at it from a different perspective..... Imagine Chelsea sack Potter and leave Potter's backroom staff in charge. What would you expect from them....

All my energy has been sapped out from watching our football and I doubt I have enough to watch the remaining 9 games left

For 20 mins today and that extra man stayed in defence as it always does. It’s been happening all season. I find the lengths people will go to defend Conte from any responsibility for this season absolutely extraordinary. He did a shit job. None of your retorts change that or even address it

I've been trying to be positive.

I used to think champions league qualification meant big things. It doesn't.

Conte has nearly won more personally than our whole club. You could tell from that press conference that there is something majorly wrong with this squad. Don’t agree with everything Conte did, like not taking blame for his part, but he was not wrong.
Jose called it out when he was in charge as well but he got shot down. And here we are with the same bloody players that were being deemed not good enough three seasons ago.
It’s not the players, it’s higher up the club for not actually giving managers the tools to work with but expecting them to pull rabbits out of their arses week after week ala Poch.
Whole lot from the top is rotten and needs culling, until then it’s only going to get worse.

If the next manager doesn’t sign a new GK, 2 CBs and a playmaker in the next transfer window then they also won’t be around for too long!!

Sanchez, Moura, Dier and most of the players out on loan need to be bombed out pronto as well.

Give them away rather than let them play another game. Like seriously, Moura and Sanchez have been awful for years now. No idea what Stellini was thinking bringing them on. I’d prefer never to see them wear our shirt again.

Though Moura’s place in our history will never be forgotten, it’s time to part ways.

There are a lot of big decisions for Daniel Levy to make in the next few weeks, and we need him to get most (if not all) of them right if we're going to find a quick way out of this mess. The biggest problem is that it doesn't feel like he's made a genuinely good decision since 2014.

The guy worked with Conte for many years working on a system. How the hell could any of you expect anything different?!
I had no expectations before the game and now don’t for the rest of the season.

This is the lie we’ve been sold for the last couple of decades. When the sole ambition is to be happy to be the 2nd, 3rd and 4th losers it breeds a loser mindset.

I think the outnumbered thing that always gets trotted out lazily is a bit of a myth. Kulu or Kane drop into areas a number 10 or third midfielder does. when you actually watch the midfield, it’s more outclassed or outrun then out numbered from what I can see.
