As you were then. Wrexham a point ahead with a game in hand.

Would be insane if the team that falls short doesn't win the playoffs but that was said about Wrexham last season too. The gap is so big it feels unfair for both not to go up.

The Wrexham documentary has got me keeping an eye on this league and I hope they go up because they've done a really good job but what's Notts County's story because they have been equally impressive.
I'm presuming Wrexham will be the big spenders of the league but have County done similar

Once they're up, they will likely drop some serious coin

Southend United might be playing it's last game as a football club today.

Another sad story of terrible financial mismanagement.
So Southend actually did survive as the money owed was paid in full on the deadline day, and now finally the owner's decided to sell up. Hope they find a competent owner.

County only drew at Barnet so Wrexham are three ahead with a game in hand. Looks like County will have to win at Wrexham on Easter Monday.

Notts had played 2 games more than Wrexham for weeks which meant Wrexham were chasing them for a long while. Recently they caught up. A few weeks ago Notts played another midweek game so the were again in front on matches played. No cups interfering with fixtures. Now I see tonight Notts are playing again so are back to 2 games ahead.
Wtf is going on there?
Looks like league are trying to disrupt Wrexham to me.

John Bostock (remember him?) just scored for Notts county against Wrexham, from a free kick in first half injury time. Good strike too, Ben Foster in goal for Wrexham.

Gotta say watching this game has made me appreciate VAR a bit more, at least when it comes to offsides.

Linesmen have got 3 or 4 wrong in such a decisive match.

EDIT: And now looks like the ref missed a blatant foul from Wrexham for their goal.

Been an incredibly entertaining second half. 4 goals and the emotional swings are insane.
