1. How exactly would they manage that? Seriously it's not possible or plausible.
2. They've hired a PR man to win the bid - spending money on his wages is in the overall interest of the club.
The THFC board and the fans interests are fundamentally the same - there is no spin, they will do whatever gives the club the greatest chance of success on and off the pitch.
I honestly don't care what happens to Haringey, Lammy, the Olympics, Crystal Palace, West Ham or Leyton Orient....

So if Celtic managed to sell another 50,000 shirts (which is being very optimistic)
and we assume they make a profit of £20 per shirt (again very optimistic)
then they've got an extra £1m
Don't see that really helping with a £5m - £8m transfer fee and wages of £65k per week
