Think i must be the only person who likes the sound of this.

I love the sound of Ronny, Bale, Lennon, VDV, Modric in a starting 11. Dont ask what the formation would be.

I think we all love the sound of that. If only you were getting goods in there prime.

It'd be like serving up a lovely juicy piece of fillet steak, only to see that its 3 weeks past its sell by date. Leaves a bit of a tang in your mouth doesnt it?

Ronnie has been one of my favourite players at 2 of my other favourite clubs over the years, but i'm sorry to say he's finished at the top level of european football. The pace of serie a is too much for him so there is just no way in hell he would cope with the epl.

As others have said of course he has some moments of magic, amazing magic. But in this league where passion and workrate is king he would fail badly. Best for him to go back to Brazil or mls.

No, no, no. He's an absolute genius but has lost the plot completely.

We have a good set up players with the right attitude and team spirit now. Let's not fuck it up.

Why would Ac be willing to let him go for such a tiny price if he is still as great as some are claiming?

The trouble with Ronaldinho is he doesn't do anything for large periods of a game. Last season his stats were really impressive. No doubt he came up with a number of goals and assists, but he didn't do much else. Milan really just carried him. He wont do any tracking back and he has no desire to dominate games. He'll come up with moments of magic, but they are few and far between. Plus I doubt he'd get as many goals and assists in the Premier League. He's a bit like Pav and Defoe in that respect, just better quality when he does do something good.

A lot of that can be leveled at VDV.

You have to have the mix of dour workmen and someone who can do the unexpected in pressure situations.

He has that Ginola factor. Why would you want him to do the dirty work?

Money. He didnt like the contract on the table.

His wages are mental. MENTAL. They need to get rid of player like him regardless of form.

He's worth 8m euros of anybody's money in shirt sales alone. If he's prepared to fit into the wage structure then I'm all for it, VDV seems to pick up quite a few niggly injuries, and with such a full European schedule he would probably get enough game time to prove he's still got it.

I don't get all this 'he's past it' rubbish, he was probably Milan's best player last season.

I can't see it happening though, I reckon he will either return home to Brazil or go for the big pay off in the Middle East.

I don't think he's past it either if he knuckles down and shows some desire and determination. Shit if that was the case he could still be one of the best in the world. Problem is he's won just about everything already and I think he's lost that spark or fire that made him one of the greats not to mention his questionable fitness and party boy image.

Like I said it could be a masterstroke or complete disaster but it would be all up to him because he's still got the ability at 30 and he's not very injury prone. If you could get him motivated again and in top shape you'd have a fucking beast of a player on your hands. I'd be tempted to take a punt but I reckon his heart is set on going to Brazil as he's already conquered europe.

My heart says "sign him up", but my head says "His wages are too high and he'd be a big fairy who doesn't like playing in the cold". Whatever Harry decides is cool with me.

Haven't the dentist's of Harringey got enough on their hands with Modric?

Would love to have him at the Lane, but we are passed the time of being a retirement home for ex stars. We are now a club for hungry up and coming players. That said, if he's willing to put a good shift in, then our youngsters have no-one better to learn from.

We'd be better off signing Beckham. Better team player, who doesn't have to go back to Brazil for canival every year, better professional for some of the lads to learn from and would also sell a load more shirts from the commercial side.

Beckham would be great, but would a three month loan really help us? We'd be a player short in our 25 man squad after he left.

VDV does a lot more in 90 mins than Ronaldinho. In fact he doesn't stop working.

I'm not so much fussed about the dirty work, just to be involved a lot more. Ronaldinho hasn't taken a game by the scruff of the neck in a very long time.
