I don't like Ade, and I will be relieved when he's gone. But I want Spurs to win more than anything else on matchday, and booing our players (no matter who they are) will damage our chances of winning. For me, that isn't acceptable.

Apparently, whilst the badge on the front may be more important than the name on the back, it's not more important than a bunch of self-indulgent, whiny bitches moaning.

You say "holier than thou" I say wanting the team to be the best it can be in the best environment.

And I see your 'good to boo certain players' as "you should wear ballet slippers to play in" (which is probably more productive/useful than booing)

I'll say again, I care not if Ade pulls on our shirt ever again, even in some David Melloresque sex romps in his own time, but I will never support booing and will always actively oppose it and those that defend their right to it.

Although some of you it would be safer to ignore as I don't wish to bloody my head further...:banghead:

Would never boo the lillywhite but please get rid of this parasite

I think that is pretty much it. I dont like the bloke and have no real issue with the concept that people would want to boo him, but ultimately it cant be good for the team or the atmosphere as a whole so would prefer we didnt.

We have a squad full of players we could cheer instead of wasting breath on this joker.

Only way anyone should be booed is if they are obviously not trying . Ade tried today because he has a point to prove , will he still be trying in a few weeks ???

I kinda agree. And as I said earlier I personally wouldn't boo, wouldn't waste my breath etc. but I understand fans that do. Spin it the other way though and maybe, just maybe some of our players were loving it. It's no coincidence that team morale improved markedly when the twat went missing. Everyone could see it and furthermore our results improved too. Especially at home.

So I don't think he's as popular as some make out within the team environment.

Funny how we all see things differently. I thought Ade looked completely disinterested when he came on. For such a big guy he really doesn't like getting stuck in.

Our fans are running out of excuses though... In recent years Ghaly, Jenas, Paulinho and Adebayor (and probably others) have been booed on to the pitch. I don't see what that achieves, other than being a ****.

You can spot them in the match thread pre match "oh XXXX is playing, we're fucked them". If said player is average or below "fucking knew we was gonna lose this with XXXX playing, he's so shit". If player XXXX has a good game "well, it was only Sunderland, let's see XXXX keep it up or do it against good teams". Rinse and repeat.

Yeah, and if that player plays well then its a witch hunt to find something he did wrong to justify their opinion as a whole

Wherever I can get a ticket...

What does booing someone on to the pitch achieve? As I said, its not just one pain in the arse player, this seems to be a habit.

He has a languid style anyway , bit like berbatov , so it's hard to tell if he is interested or not but I thought he added a bit of a physical threat in the air when he came on today

It wasn't a dig at going/not going just when I've been and dear Ade plays the majority groan. Some more vociferous than others. And like you I'm all over the ground. Apart from the West Stand of course. And I try to avoid the Paxton like the plague.

And this was before his outburst and current madness.

And I've only ever heard 2 players booed before they came on btw.

If you were gonna go for a whole sterilisation/eugenics/clean up the gene pool vibe you'd probably start with those that booed Ade today. Just what you need with the game in the balance eh? Cretins

The game never needs cretins.
