Hmmm, where have i heard that before...
I rest my case.
not if you think he is the answer to replacing Robbo, because he isnt, why replace one keeper with another who is also prone to mistakes  bad ones

Thats down to the mangers opinion,Robinson a better Keeper than Carson but who played in the last game.I`d play Green for England.
i think we may find Cudicini in a spurs shirt next season.

I would like that ! Good Keeper ....
If you look at almost any keeper's season, you will find mistakes abound if you look. "Prone to mistakes" is a very ambiguous statement. A keeper who is relatively mistake-free is a rare animal, and one that it out of our league frankly.
I was waiting for the England comparison, i could see it a mile off.
The manager's opinion was that Robbo was #1 for a good many games, spanning years. Then McClaren went cuckoo and changed it up in one game and look what happened.
Last i checked, McGregor has played all of 45 minutes for Scotland, with Gordon being the undisputed #1.
Hardly a good comparison, is it.
Incidentally, having just seen the Lyon goals, McGregor comes off as less than stellar. Certainly on the first one.
i just dont see Boruc being any less prone to mistakes than Robbo, and Boruc is making the mistakes against lesser teams and players, alot worse mistakes than Robbo this season...we need to be doing better than him
Ok,i will use Robbo in goal for us,how many goals from distance does he let in.
Are teams now thinking ,we have got Robbo in goal against this week let shoot from distance!
Did he ever command his box, seem rooted to the line ,to me.
He`s a great shot stopper but has made clangers that cost us a league cup final appearance last year along with the fat blokes tactics.
Very, very ambiguous. What constitutes "prone to mistakes"? How many? And within how many games? How much less is less? What constitutes a mistake? How do you rank them?
We've seen on this very forum the vast differences in what people constitute as a mistake and who is to blame for what. Case in point, Robbo.
I think Boruc is an improvement. You don't think he is. The difference is you're offering up so-called evidence that isn't any sort of evidence at all. It's very, very subjective and ambiguous. Whereas i'm simply stating unabashed opinion. In the end, you've offered nothing more or less than me for your argument against him.
And i've just realised i've carried on this conversation with the other brother. Seamless tag team.
and you ahve said Robbo has made mistakes,

Good luck with your search for the immaculate keeper, everyone.
