As Walker is under 21, should he stay?

it also says they can 'have' as many u21's as they like and 'use' one of them.

Just badly written I think. (What? In the Mail? Never!). I don't think they're suggesting clubs can only use one youngster. Obviously that's nonsense.

how can you find out who has you set to ignore?

i don't post regularly enough to piss people off to that extent, but i've had my moments with some...

especially as my earlier incarnation.

Okay-dokes, I would indeedy keep him as part of the squad.

He qualifies as one of our young boys and even if he didn't he has great potential not only as a right back but also possibly as potential centre back cover in the event of an emergency (hopefully we'll be getting ourselves another centre back though if all the recent doom and gloom in regards to Woody is true).

Especially given Corkula looks ever so slightly mega iffy at centre back and is best left at right-back - Walker looks like he has some nice pace to burn too.

Walker has shown good potential, he looks like he has all the physical attributes, can he now learn the game sufficiently to become a regular performer.

I have psychotic abilities...

Plus DC confirmed he had yesterday or the day before I believe, but I'm out of the sin bin now so it's all good.

I don't think I'm on anyone's ignore list now...

I'm so darn interesting it would just be wrong to ignore me! ;-)

Given the new rules re 25 man squad, i believe I'm right in saying Kyle doesn't have to count as part of the 25, because he's under age

dawson walker kaboul bassong, plus king when fit and hudd if needed (i think hudd could do a good job in some euro games) would that be enough?

I agree, plus we actually have great cover already, number one teaming, Dawson, King, then, Bassong, Kabul, Corluka, Hudd, Walker - and maybe Woody, so for me we have it covered?

Loaning back Walker and keeping Naughton, then reversing it in January was utter nonsense last season. There's an obsession with buying young players and then loaning them out, which often leads to the player then leaving the following season, as Gunter did.

Walker has all the attributes to be in most of our first 18s.

I don't think it was. Walker benefitted from having another 5 months in the championship, whilst Naughton was benefitting from training with us (don't forget Naughton had had a full season in the Championship, while Walker was on loan in League Two with Northampton).
