Villa played 5 at the back against City, hopefully that doesn't cause us problems again, assuming they do the same tomorrow.

I hope our bad run is not about to happen as we tend to have them about this time of the season. We haven't really had one this season so far and when we've dropped points we have gone on a run again. Villa are down....maybe not mathmatically but they are as good as dead and the players know it so they will be a lot more relaxed and could nick it.
If the players want the title badly enough and are really up for it they should score early and go in at half time 2 up with the game won but this is Spurs we are talking about so it wouldn't be a surprise if they did a Newcastle. They were sruggling at the time....as they still are....and beat us by coming from behind.
I'm looking for a 2-0 win but I do feel the players are looking jaded at the moment. It's been a continous season with very few let ups and the hard physical training needed for Poch's pressing game seems to be taking it's toll.
But we will see.We can't win the title tomorrow but we could lose it especially if Leicester win on Monday and we lose at Villa.

Villa would get relegated from the championship... they have no fight. I honestly don't understand what anyone is worried about.

I've been discussing this with my villa supporting mates and the fact that players like agbonlahor who are bang average at best has been given an unbelievable life by that club and treated him so well, give absolutely zero shits whatsoever. Can't be bothered to run 10 yards to close the ball down and are just strolling around waiting for May.

This of course doesn't mean that the eternal pessimist of being a spurs fan doesn't creep in and that little part of your brain says "they've got to play well at some point surely?"

We should absolutely smash these but even a 1-0 last minute own goal would be massive. Win today and we go 6 +GD ahead of the scum, and despite easy or hard run ins and games in hand, I'd always have points on the board any day.

Mentally that's a much bigger gap than they would feel comfortable with and with a trip to barca + Everton next week it could be a tough week for them. Of course a win also puts big pressure on Leicester and let's hope for that famed new manager bounce from Newcastle.

unfortunately I have prior arrangements so will miss the game. The big question is do I rely on Spurs Go to keep me updated or block the notifications. When in Barcelona earlier this year they decided to let me know that Man City had scored but then didn't bother to notify me of any of our 4 goals, thus leading to a considerably worse afternoon then it should have been (especially for the missus!)

Constantly checking Live scores leads to a row with the aforementioned missus and checking this place gives no indication of what the score is or how we are actually doing.

We need to be smart about it. They may have got to the point where they will just throw everything including the kitchen sink. We usually play well on the counter attack, so I think we should try and let them play, otherwise they may just park the bus. If they have the ball, they won't sit back. They have a few players injured, so could play the kids. In which case they should be there for the taking.

I said to my Newcastle supporting friends and they agreed, if they don't beat Villa they deserve to get relegated

I think the same applies to us, if we don't beat them we don't deserve to win the title and should be worried about top 4 imo

This has got 1-1 written all over it!
Thats what my monies on. We go 1-0 up they get a late draw. I can just see it happening. I'm trying to be optimistic but there have been to many false dawns over the years. Also if we start with Chadli we are starting with 10 men.

I'm gonna be optimistic and say we beat them by 3 or 4 goals today

Surely they'll attack us today, with a few games left, a point doesn't do much for them...

Exactly mate.

They are not going to park the bus, its go for broke time. I think this will be an open game with plenty of goals in it.
