So should this be getting announced tomorrow?

I'd imagine so - they have a match against Fiorentina on Tuesday so will presumably want him eligible for that. I'd guess late afternoon tomorrow, given that they're on US time?

Wow, I might actually have a chance for ITK as I work for the Red Bulls... Will keep my ear to the ground! They're at our stadium on Tuesday for a match and might have training here Monday.
You work for them? That's awesome. Do you know if that Miazga to Swans thing was legit or not? Seems there was alot of talk there then just completely died down.

If you had told me just after we signed him that he'd be moving to PSG less than a year later, I would have assumed that Stambouli had had an immense season. A weird move, but a welcome one for all concerned. We make room for a player that can perform better in Poch's system, Stambouli moves to the biggest team in France and PSG bolster their homegrown numbers.

PSG coach Laurent Blanc confirms Benjamin Stambouli's arrival from Spurs to be official tomorrow. Also says no Thiago Motta vs. Fiorentina.

Quite an odd transfer this. Similar to Man City buying Delph, I suppose. At least Stambo can make a bit of money for a couple of years before eventually leaving to carry on with career. Good look to him.

Good luck to him, seemed like a good guy. Become even clearer now that Poch never wanted him to begin with, not really fair on either the player or the manager. Hopefully he's the last of the panic buys.

Good luck to him but it was an odd signing to begin with as he never seemed in our plans anyway. It's quite encouraging to see us get a few players off our books already.

This transfer does also bring with it the possibility that Stambouli is quite a bit better than we realise or have seen.

Morgan Schneiderlin struggled to get in Southampton's team in the championship in his first season in the UK, only really finding his feet once they dropped down to league one. Kind of puts Stambouli's season into perspective for me, he looked OK at Premier league level in his first season. No shame in it and not a single run of games to settle in our get momentum.

I wish him the best and I'm really delighted coming to Spurs has ended with him getting such a great move.

We never really knew you Benji.

Wish we could somehow get Lucas Moura off them. With Di Maria looking like a possibility to go there... Maybe, just maybe.

Nahhhhhhh.

Personally to me, this somehow showed that Stambouli wasn't a MoPo signing. The whole of last season also showed how clever a man manager MoPo is, the appointments of Ade of Vice Captaincy is a shrewd and calculated one. One if Ade failed to perform on the pitch (Which Ade really failed to) and subsequently dropped, Ade cannot make noise and said he was ostracised, like he did with AVB. Dropping the likes of Kaboul and Capoue and even Lennon and we do not hear much rumblings. All these to me, shows that he is a smart man.....very very smart man. So now, we shall see who will come in as DM (or DMs) or maybe MoPo already has plans (Reshuffling his players; the likes of Veljkovic and Winks or maybe even Alli to play the MS role?)....We shall see! :) Interesting stuffs.

Schneiderlin was 19 not 24 and it took him 5 to 6 seasons to get to the level he is at now.

Best of luck to him. It's a shame it didn't work out for him over here - my personal feelings are that we should have given him another season.

Tidy little player who had a lot more to offer than he got to show. I'll keep an eye on him back in France and wish him all the best.

There were so many games this season where we needed more defensive steel and he should have started ahead of Mason, or in a midfield 3 with Mason and Bentaleb.

Good luck to him, seemed like a hard worker. His attitude is seemingly his best attribute and I hope he does well at PSG.
