How many assists does he have thus far?
4. In games we have played 3-4-2-1 Alli has 7 goals and 2 assists in 7 games with 6 goals and 2 assists in 19 games in 4-2-3-1.How many assists does he have thus far?
So confused...There is- his biological mum denies it.
13 league goals in 26 appearances according to Wiki, incredible stats that even a centre forward would be proud of!
As per Jenas article I linked above, he does work so much better in a 3-4-2-1 rather than the more rigid 4-2-3-1.
Hopefully we'll look to strengthen squad to allow us to keep it as the main default formation / system.
So confused...
Edit: I did respond to this but on second thoughts it's not important.
The guy is such a talent and we're lucky to have him. Out of curiosity how would you guys set up and England team to get the best of Kane and Dele (if you were guaranteed there'd be no injuries)?
IMO, Engalnd should also go 3-4-2-1. It gets the best out of Kane, Alli, Walker and Rose and, IMO, would get the best out of Stones. It would probably bring the best out of Wilshire too but I can't face putting him in the team. The biggest Issue for me is who plays CM.So confused...

As above - 3-4-2-1 to get the best out of our boys and Stones, as well as give Lallana and Sterling a bit of freedom:So confused...

What's the record for PL goals from a midfielder before your 21st birthday? As far as I can see Alli's tally of 23 is ahead of all the obvious candidates I can think of, or at least will be:
Alli 23 (and counting)
Giggs 23
Sterling 22 (!)
Barmby 19
Fabregas 15
Ronaldo 14
Scholes (technically a striker at the time) 11
Lampard 10
Gerrard 8
Beckham 7
Bet it's someone really obscure isn't it?
It should be noted that he's played far fewer games at this level than Sterling and Barmby for example to reach this tally.
As above - 3-4-2-1 to get the best out of our boys and Stones, as well as give Lallana and Sterling a bit of freedom:
HartSouthgate will never try it but it's well worth a go.
Dier Smalling Stones
Walker Henderson Lallana Rose
Sterling Kane Alli
Wasn't a midfielder.Rooney?

Personally, I would like to see England try
Hart
Dier Cahill Stones
Walker Henderson Drinkwater Rose
Alli Lallana/Sterling
Kane
*Only put Henderson and Drinkwater as I can't think of anyone else, though I would be tempted to give Lewis Baker ago, as he does great for the England U21s and is having a very good season for Vitesse.
