To hear Harry Kane immediately come out and say that Alli has learned his lesson is as meaningless as it is premature. How can he say that so soon after the event after he has not even played another minute of competitive football. Actions peak louder than words. We all hope that he will learn his lesson but nobody can be sure that he has before his resolve is tested again.
His temperament will be put to the test on many occasions in the future and not too distant future I suspect and I suspect we might begin to have an idea as to how he reacts when it actually is put to the test again. I would say this to Harry Kane lets wait to see, we hope he has, he will need the support of his manager and his teammates, but only he will know deep down whether he will see red mist and overreact when he is provoked, only he has that degree of control or lack of it within his gift when he is put to the test again.
