He needs to be very disciplined then. If he wants to be a top footballer, sacrifices need to be made.
Exactly right.

with the way it was being said earlyer about looking gangly or something along those lines, 1 stone wouldnt be anywhere near like that.
there is no real point in messing around with Hudds stature and weight untill he really stops growing if he hasnt already, could just mess the kid up even more if we try and do whats good now when it might not be in afew years
I remember listening to a hudd interview about a year ago. In the interview he said that he had gone for x ray and they told him that his bones had stopped growing(joints fused).
"So, Tom, have you checked to see if you've finished growing yet?"I remember listening to a hudd interview about a year ago. In the interview he said that he had gone for x ray and they told him that his bones had stopped growing(joints fused).
Maybe, just maybe, he's simply not all that fit? (regardless of his size)
never heard that interview, so didnt know that.
Gibbs, that's called steroids mate.
I don't believe generalisations are valid when applied to an unusual physique like Hudds , certainly not whilst it is still growing .

Anyone who was at the Blackburn game would have witnessed a player who was virtually stationary for the last 20 minutes.
He clearly looks short of the required levels of fitness for a 90 minute prem stint.
I would have thought that a player like the Hudd would have a unique fitness programme specifically designed for himself?
I'm sorry, sir, your body is wrong. Thanks though.
:| Right. Tell that to Jan Molby.
It's the boy's body shape, mate. He's not fat! You can't tell him to suddenly "un-broaden" his shoulders. He has a wide frame due to his skeleton. Not due to the too many 'Andy Reids'.
[An 'Andy Reid' being a pie stuffed with another pie; deep-fried]
Numbers don't come into it at all. Muscle and fat weigh more or less the same, but a pound of fat is big and fluffy, and a pound of mucle is small and firm, and takes up less space in the body.
For the record, I totally agree he could trim down a bit and it is very achievable, just not the way your suggesting he does it.
where it tarrabt?
