that is agent_itk saying the deal between vertonghen and arsenal has been concluded. note use of the word concluded, as opposed to completed. arsenal know he doesnt wanna go there

Sorry to bust your bubble guys, but a transfer is far from imminent the way it's going now. If Ajax were happy about whatever bid Spurs have made we would've heard more by now considering they've been talking for a while. Vertonghen has denied making any claims that he's only interested in Spurs, not long ago he was bigging up Arsenal so it wouldn't have made any sense anyways.

With more clubs expressing their interest now including the likes of United and Barcelona I'm confused why most of you think Arsenal or Spurs are the only likely candidates. Yes both clubs have made their interest known first, but that doesn't stop him nor Ajax from listening to other incoming offers.
