If so Barca v Atletico will basically be a cup tie. I'm still hoping Barca win as I had a 30/1 accumulator at the start of the season for Barca, Bayern, Juve, PSG, Ajax and Celtic to all win their respective leagues. All the others have won so far...

That's Real Madrid definately out of the title race now then.

This is an incredible title race isn't it!

If Atleti win it, that would rank as one of the greatest league wins of all times. The finance disparity between the top two and the rest is huge, so for one of the rest to win would be huge.

Currently watching Barca, really are a shadow of the team of 2-3 years ago.
Its their own fault, its pure arrogance the reason why they aren't the force they use to be

They keep buying wingers, rely too much on xavi(not playing fabregas enough in CM) and they refuse to buy defenders and a proper striker preferring DM's in CB.

I was posting more from a tactical sense. The detail and understanding to their play used to be so thorough. Now when I watch them I see massive gaps, a stretched team, unsupported players lacking options etc. Very disjointed. I know its a new manager in place, but they seem poorer for it.

Fabregas in the Xavi role tonight I think looked very poor in particular.

They looked better at the midpoint of the season but its the old problem of messi in the middle don't work for me and they have no plan b. They also don't move the ball as fast which doesnt create the opportunities as it use to. Pep was said to leave because he didnt feel the squad was as hungry as before but also he didnt think messi would do want he wanted.

As for fabregas he looked good there under pep but for me he hasn't looked good since he got moved back to striker or wherever.
