There is a strange irony with all these stories about his hip ailment when rumours abounded not so long ago about him being caught smoking a "joint" and that his real problem was drug addiction.

Kind of agree about where he fits in now.considering we will almost certainly sign a top class AM ,and hopefully the emergence of Edwards .In a 3-4-3 he'd be fighting with eriksen son newbie janssen nkoudou Edwards for one spot .Obviously 2 in a 4-2-3-1 .Tbh if sessegnon didn't come ,conversion to a LWB might not be craziest idea .he has decent pace and loves a tackle .

Hope he gets back to full fitness. Easy to forget just how well he was progressing. Looked like a break out season for him before the injury.

I love Lamela and anyone that doesn't is a ****

I've also been drinking quite heavily in the sunshine, so I love pretty much everyone. Except Lamela haters. They're on my naughty list.

He might love a tackle. Doesn't mean he's any good at it though.

Headless chicken sometimes when he has pressed and kicked people. Cost us a win at the Emirates when Poch was forced to take him off before he was sent off in 15/16, and there was certainly more games where he had gotten yellows for reckless tackling, again forcing Poch to take him off disrupting our balance and intensity.

Plus if you think he's getting in ahead of Rose and Davies you're deluded.

so 3 upfront & discounting central for Kane why is he fighting for 1 spot? Unless you assume Alli is undroppable too.

Well I guess dele is pretty much undropable at moment .However if the goals dried up I think people would get in his back pretty quickly .Doesnt yet dominate games like a gerrard or lampard .

Come on @coco

You can't make them love you, if they won't
You can't make their hearts feel, something they won't

But, I feel the power Coco, even if they don't.

You're saying we were better off with him on the pitch than once he'd been subbed off?

Yes. We were. But he was going to get sent off with his reckless tackling and gung ho attitude. Which is why Poch took him off. Therefore he cost us the game. It's not very difficult to understand

What game are you even talking about? 2015? When he was subbed with 15 minutes to go cost us the game?

That mean son who came on For him is so inferior and that the gaping hole lamela left made they whole team crumble and concede a goal because we are useless without him?

You either rate lamela even higher than me or what you're saying totally does not compute
