I'm not one for conspiracy but I think if someone investigated Leicester closely there would be a more interesting film to make.

Was saying all last season that something suspicious was going on and I stick by it, the fact they have fallen so hard and look a complete shadow of the team they were last season makes it even more suspect.

I could understand a small drop off, but this much? What are the realistic chances this would happen? They won the title by what, 10 points last season in the end?

I think a few of their players were doing something last season and one of them in particular, Vardy.

The most noticeable change for them is their energy levels, last season they would all be sprinting around in the 80-90th min like they had not even played a game of football, these season most of them are blowing hard by the 60th minute.

Would be interesting to see the stats about ground covered this season compared to last season and also the amount of decisions they have been given by officials this season compared to last season.

I'm pleased they did something dodgy last season if that is really the case.

It meant the goons didn't win the title!

More importantly, how didn't we beat them at home this season?

One big difference is that, last season, Huth, Morgan and Simpson were allowed to wrestle opponents to the ground when defending any set piece. When the FA announced that they were clamping down on it this season (though it seems to have petered out), my first thought was that it was a reaction to Leicester's approach.

I know Arsenal finished second in the end but I think it's over simplifying it to say that they would have won the title if it wasn't for Leicester.

Might be just bitterness but I was saying all last year that as soon as they're in Europe and having more strict drug testing that they'd face issues. There were loads of "performance enhancing" rumours last year.

Imagine Sunderland barely staying up this season, and then winning the league next season. With essentially the same team. Something dodgy as fuck was going on.

Would like to see some stats comparing how far and how fast some of their players are running during games this season. Forget the Kanye shaped hole in the midfield - as a unit they seem a couple of yards slower everywhere.

Agreed, that's exactly what I was thinking as well, with the stricter testing in Europe and the fact that ref's were going to crack down on holding in the box (the latter of which earned them so many points last season) I always felt like it would turn out this way.

Just looks far too suspicious at this point, I could be completely wrong obviously.

Also I remember that really suspect interview with Danny Simpson at the start of this season where he mentioned the ref's, think it may have been about holding but it was almost like he was admitting that the ref's had said "Yeah, we let you get away with it last season and you won the title, but it's not going to happen now" it was just a very weird interview, his body language was all over the place.

Wish I could find it now, can't remember when it was.

I agree with you. I have seen stats for Vardy. Incredibly enough he runs, on average, one km less each game compared to last season. That's hard to explain without stating what I'm thinking...
