He is right though, that's why no one has done it before

On the one hand, maybe Pep is so pure and driven and single-minded that he didn't realise this little display in front of the cameras would inspire breathless praise for his winning mentality and maniacal commitment to excellence.
On the other hand, give me a fucking break.
Fourmidables? Someone fill me in here. Did they knock us out of the CL and I was unaware?
The quadruple dream is over guys, let it go.

They are counting the Charity Shield. It is a big trophy nowadays.
(Although is technically 'last season' because it was won before this season started)
It was until Jose started counting it as one of three trophies the season United won EL.I always thought it was a friendly....
If that's the case then Pep,why didn't you knock us out in the quarter finals.....

Kompany is a truly great player and a proper professional, I would have loved to see him in a Spurs shirt. That said, it's hard to watch him get the type of send off that Ledley King should have received in an ideal world without injuries.
He refused to answer too which just made him look guilty.
Very good read this
It may all be above board and I would expect it to be the case since they're already under scrutiny as it is. Although maybe I'm naive.
And I also understand his reaction having achieved a big win after a big season.
But, it is great that these questions are asked, and journos should keep probing. There's nothing illegitimate about questioning their nationally funded oligarchy resources. Pep is part of it, his achievements at City have the asterisk. And I'd like to see him manage Watford someday, assuming they aren't bought by a nation state's sovereign wealth fund
Skirts round FFP though no ?The journo probably only asked then because he won’t get another chance until next season. They’ll have no more press conferences before the news possibly comes out so he had to get some sort of comment from the manager.
I don’t think it’s illegal to be rewarded like Mancini was anyway as long as it’s properly taxed etc.
Technically it is England's Super Cup. The winner of the league vs winner of the FA Cup. So it can and should be treated as a trophy IMOI always thought it was a friendly....
