Janssen is having a good game feeding off scraps with no support

In what way is he having a good game? When he missed the header at the far post which was crying out to be stuck in, was that good?

His hold up play has been decent at best. Got bullied off the ball a few times and his control hasnt been great. Plus, he's not getting into positions to score.
Even Lawro understands it, shame our fans don't

Vincent Janssen hasn't got the pace. His movement is good and he is good at holding the ball up.

If you play with him, it is up to the midfield players to get in and around him.

A central defender can get really tight and not worry about the space in behind.

I think it will be a point Pochettino makes at half-time to his players.

Poor first half. Our left side has been extremely poor with the ball and positioning. Jansenn is calling for the ball continuously when in a good position or not or offside which is bizarre. Fortunately it's good experience for everyone although I'm still not sure Carroll is even playing most of the time, anonymous......

Janssen needs some help up top, he won the ball back there in the wide left position and still had no options. Firstly, it should be someone else winning the ball but secondly where is the support for him?

Way too easy to defend against.

Because he's having to do it all himself. He's got nobody within 30 yards of him most of the time
