The interesting thing for me is that my contacts in the game all rate Janssen and are impressed by his overall game while it is the fans who think he is a waste of money. He is a target player not a run beyond the back four forward, so he needs to be judged in that context. I do believe the goals will come for him, but his overall play will provide goals for others. He was involved in the most initial build ups that led to goals in Holland last year, so that is something to his game that cannot be taught. The goals will come.

Well I think Poch believes we can win the league so that's the priority.

The draw makes a massive difference as well, if we had got fodder such as Sunderland or Reading and then pulled another easy one like Hull for example we'd had most probably got to the semi's and I believe that our focus would have changed somewhat. Last time we got to a cup final we had some piss easy games and we didn't start playing up to full strength until the semi's anyway.

I think that Tuesday and the performance of some of summer recruits thus far was not amazing. When Edwards is fit, we must get him in the first team squad.

Also there was obviously a player in Dembele from Fulham to get in January. Shame it did not work out.
