Ref and linesman Get my hate first. Closely followed by Quimm. Then Sky. Then the diving cheating Bin Dippers. Then maybe some of our play. But that is a way down the list as most of them are boys. Was too frustrated at the end. Wanted to punch the telly. I feel for Jansen. Must have asked for the ball in the channel about 50 fucking times. Final third ponderesssness is killing our football. Anyway. Good effort. Not going to bollock individuals.

Over reaction to our back ups. The only difference was strurridge. Who when fit is a 50 million pound player. Would loved to have seen what a fully fit Kane would have done

It's pretty clear that Poch should resign and all of our young players should be immediately released from the contracts because they proved in one match away at Liverpool that they will never make it and should probably start looking at other careers.

Daniel Levy should reconsider finishing the new stadium too. Not much point in that now.

Tom Carroll should be ejected into space or at least the championship.

Not a teenager anymore.

Apart from that kinda what I expected, bunch of young guys playing away to Liverpool, Most not at all ready
Put on lamela and cooking mama and we look much better

He can take Davies with him. Need to upgrade on him ASAP as when he plays in our system we have NO threat on the left left flank.

I loved it when he did that...the rest of the game he just looked as if he felt like nothing was going to go right for him.

If he doesn't come good this season, he will next. Just needs time to settle.
To be fair I watched him make runs into the box the ball never came.

Decent in spells but some disappointing performances
MOTM - Vorm

worrying bits:

- Dier's lack of form/effort. Complete 180 from last year in the middle of the park. Looks lost.

- Wimmer's drop off. We can see why the rumors are as they are. Looked nothing like the kid that made us forget Verts.

- Davies LB play. Major decline.

- Leadership. There were seniors out there and no one calmed the lot down.

- Transfers. We needed some difference makers and we haven't found any. GKN got bullied by a teenager.

- GOALS - we haven't looked like scoring anything all season to be honest. Apart from moments of brilliance we are looking might inept at creating clear cut chances.

Both Wimmer and Davies look so limited on the ball.
I don't think either suit our style to be honest.

Very lucky to only lose by one goal

Many of the problems on the pitch tonight reflect what we've been seeing in the first team recently

Poch has some work to do

With Onomah it is clear that, like Kane when he was a kid coming into the team, he's got growing to do and to get stronger and less bambi like. He can't quite do some of the things he wants to do against men yet, especially out wide. He's done some decent things tonight, he's done some poor things. He is languid, but he's pressed pretty well, not always tracked back and has looked tired later on.

It happens when you're a rookie. I don't know what people expect? Put several of them in a team like this with others who've played no football themselves and they have no protection. I don't think he of any of the others disgraced themselves. It's all part of the learning curve.

Or nah, he lost the ball sometimes, means he's SHIT.
He's clearly talented but if we are using the Kane analogy then he desperately needs to go out on loan come January to 'toughen up' both physically and mentally.

Can't see him featuring much going forwards this season and nothing from tonight's performance suggest that he should.

The worst part about this other than the fact we have crashed out of a competition we could have won a trophy in, is now I have to listen to people wank off Liverpool even more than they already have been.

What's apparent from tonight is Liverpool have more strength in depth than us and are better going forward, that much is clear, I said at the end of last season I thought they would be a threat this season and even said they may win the league, the thought of them winning the PL before us actually makes me feel sick, I really detest them as a club, the "diet racist" fans and the way they carry themselves as if they are a sleeping giant that will awaken every season.

Can you imagine if they actually won it? Or finished above us to claim champions league football whilst we go back to the EL after a tremendous flop of a season?

I know these are worst case scenarios but honestly, we need to get our shit in order fast, we just witnessed how easy it is to go from 2nd to 5th over the space of a few games, we are not scoring or even looking remotely dangerous going forward and we just got dumped out of a cup competition by a team who we are likely going to be competing against right until the end in the PL this season, none of this is good, Poch needs to sort it and sort it fast, Kane isn't some magic plaster that will fix everything, he wasn't in great form before his injury and he isn't going to cure our inability to create chances.

Men against boys tonight, their youngsters are so much better than ours, they deserved the win. Wanyama has absolutely took the centre mid position from dier and nkoudou was a bit underwhelming with his cutting inside all the time, winks showed some good touches but we so lack creativity/ pace/ penetration around the box that it's frightening!!

I think to bring on the youngsters and fringe players it's better to introduce them into a squad that keeps part of the core of the 1st choice XI. Otherwise the system and style is different and it's hard to play properly. It why there were so many stupid unforced errors from decent technical players.

You've obviously watched zero games involving Winks then.. our best and most ready youth player, and he'd slot in fine if he didn't have a bunch of morons around him. Shit runs, no brains.

Ive never watched him so i was expecting someone who was ready based on what i was reading here. He certainly looked accomplished admittedly but not ready yet for first team. He is however better than carroll.

Nowt bad with Pool staying in this comp longer and longer, could do with them and Chelsea getting far in this competition to give them a bit of a distraction.
