Not like the old days when we could never win there. Even with our less than stellar defence I think we will take this one.

We so badly need to beat Man utd. Liverpool have got Swansea away on Monday night and next weekend it's Liverpool vs Man utd, while we play Leicester.

I'm sure we'll screw it up, but it's nice knowing we had such a great chance to secure fourth place.. Lol.

Come on you Spurs!!

Nerves starting to tingle again in anticipation,,,,this one has everything - the historic Manure v Spurs rivalry, Poch vs Van Gaal, Kane against the lot of them, should be a good one COYS (y)

The key is doubling up on clattenberg, always has a stormer against us.
Fancy both teams to score and a late winner either way.
2-1 spurs, Kane winner in fergie time.

We always seem to say this (and then lose) but it really is a good time to play them.

Several key injuries and suspensions on their side. A few players struggling for fitness and confidence and none of them really seeming to be fully on board with mad King Louie's plans yet.

Conversely, we're practically at 100% form and fitness.

We should absolutely be aiming to win and anything less will be a blow in the race for CL.

My fear is that we play in a manner which will suit United.

They will score at least once. Kane and Eriksen must shine.

Thats our big fault..............we concede goals in almost every game.........we need to score at least twice to win.
Eriksen and Kane are our biggest threats and if they can silence them..........we have no chance.

Are united smart enough to clog the midfield, sit a bit deeper and play on the break? If they come out and play they're going to get tanked.

If we don't bring all our guns out for this one I will give up on this team for ever, he have nothing to lose and everything to win. Even if we don't win, I want to see us go out for their jugular from the first minute. The only way for us to win United is by outscoring them, not be holding them at bay (even though we've got the best keeper in the league).

The outcome of this game will be decided by the performances of:

de Gea and Rooney.
Lloris and Kane.

The rest cancel each other out and make up the numbers. IMO!

You do know we have actually won there the last two seasons?

This game is a really good test of character for us as a team and as individual players.

What we see from them will tell us a lot about how ready we are to challenge at the top.

We go there with a couple of wins behind us, playing an incredibly vulnerable team. A top team would smell blood and translate that by going for the jugular straight from kick off, silence the fans, place doubt in the minds of the under confident United players.

We simply must get in their faces, press, and force mistakes straight from the off. Tempo is key.

Can we do this though?

Or will the occasion, the stadium, the fans etc put our young team back into its shell and give United that bit of time they will need to get into their stride and start dictating us and getting their dangermen on the ball?

Genuinely interested as to which way we start the game. It'll tell us a lot about our players and, IMO, will be a period crucial to the game's outcome.

Plus, this is a pressure game for us regarding the top four. If we play fearlessly it will give me a lot of confidence that Poch's work on our mentality has really sunk in.
