Tbh its a young squad, they will make mistakes, but what really bothers me is that there is no heart, no passion. When we were 1-0 down against arsenal at the Lane i still had massive confidence we were gonna pull it back, because of how eager we were. Look at us now, its so embarrassing, its disgraceful.

Not much you can say about that except worst collective half of football from us for a long time.

If that's what we can do with a free week then roll on next season's Europa league...

Dier dire

I'm no longer flattered with walkers pace, we need a new right back or a brain transplant

Briefly ending my SC hiatus to say 2 things.

1. Kyle Walker is a braindead shithouse. Signing a quality RB should be our priority in the summer.

2. Eric Dier vs Fellaini was always a mismatch, and when we have a player with physical presence like Fazio on our bench, its worrying that Poch never saw this coming.

It's crazy fazio isn't playing. We were so much better defensively with him in the team. So much more organised.

Players and manager should be embarrassed with themselves. Totally unprepared to deal with how United are playing and nobody able to correct it.

This is so frustrating.

Been looking forward to this game the whole week, thinking that for once we had a decent rest before a game and might fire on all cylinders.

Instead we get this. The worst performance of the season. What the hell have they done all week??

Comes down to Poch really. A week to prepare, have this hot steaming pile of poop. Then chooses Townsend and Chadli who offer little defensively especially on such a big pitch.

Granted he can't be at fault for Bentalebs Walker moment, nor at fault for Walker having brain surgery

The whole team has bottled this.

Both Townsend and Chadli should have been subbed off IMO.

Us stringing just two passes together in the entire second half would be a significant improvement on this total and utter shite.

Did someone spike our tea?

United have no pace either.

They've just approach the game professionally.

Exactly, they don't. Yet they still run circles around us. Says more about us than them, hence my point.

And yes, they have approached this game quite clearly with a stronger mindset and sharper focus. But we are still just too blunted in our movement and incisiveness across the board. We move the ball around so slowly and have no one who can really run in behind to cause problems to provide stretch, and are far too timid with the ball at our feet. So incredibly easy to contain and then push back without these elements.
