Just no Sanchez will do
Conte "if we only have 1% chance of top 4 I will believe we can get it"Have to get through now that top 4 is gone.
Yep agreed, we see what happens. But for sure my toys go out of the pram, twice ?, if we play a weakened team at Boro and lose.I don't think we were ever going to at Burnley and to be honest Leeds turned into an even more important game for multiple reasons after Conte's outburst and the midweek loss so I respect that it was really pivotal to get a positive feeling back in the club and we should have gone as strong as possible in both.
I'm not mad at going strong in the league considering what we are fighting for and Conte will have faith in whatever he has planned for this game, whether it's to go as strong as he has in the league or to make a few changes. I'm not going to criticise before anything has happened or been decided.
Truth is though, I think our squad and the injuries we have allow us to only change so much.
I think Conte is pivotal to us going forward so hopefully he stays.Yep agreed, we see what happens. But for sure my toys go out of the pram, twice ?, if we play a weakened team at Boro and lose.
I already don't care whether Conte stays or goes. Another trophyless season and he just becomes another manager.
Well, it didn't seem like we picked up any new injuries. I doubt Skipp or Bentancur will be available. Same team except Reggie in for me.
Sess has promise, but worries me defensively

Spurs fan "if we have any chance of top 4 I will believe there's no chance we can get it"
Quite. And then we complain about the players mentality...
Anyone know why Lucas wasn't on the bench Saturday? I read he stormed off at the final whistle against Burnley but not sure if there's been a falling out.

Every time we have rotated with the weaker players we have lost even against FC Mura.Need to go strong to progress but players like Moura Bergwijn Sanchez Rodon should still be a level above the championship and one of the few opportunities for minutes
that's a bit of a reach, given you haven't seen them play under Wilder. He has a slightly different rep compared to Pulis and Warnock!Middlesbrough have put together a lengthy sequence of seasons in the Championship where they had an extremely miserly defence, but missed out on the playoffs and/or promotion because they couldn't score enough goals.
I haven't seen them play in the past year, but I imagine they still play with a deep defensive line and try to clog up the area on the edge of the penalty box, since that's the usual approach from defensively-minded teams in the lower divisions.
That would make them a challenge quite like Burnley. The question then becomes: can we take advantage of our superior fitness and skill levels to retain midfield possession and craft goals against a low-block opponent in the way we couldn't against Burnley?
It's the same question, irrespective of how much we rotate and who plays.
