It's called schaden freude here in Germany - when you enjoy some one else having problems - but I'm pissing myself laughing at West Ham supporters in their SHIT STADIUM.
Think yourselves fukin lucky to be spurs supporters boys

Southampton could have had 5 or 6 today. There fans were singing 'we've got more fans than you' near the end lol

It's funny how you just say he can hold the ball up like it's an easy skill. Showing the strength that he does with his back to goal in a league of this quality and having the ability to lay it off to team mates is very difficult, i'm actually struggling to name 3 other stikers in this league that show hold up lay as good as his. It really is a great part of his game and a skill that should be massivley applauded not just accepted.

I'm a huge Kane fan but when he has had this dip in form, 2 goals in 13 games, the rest of his game has also suffered and sometimes he has zero impact on the game, at least with Janssen you know 80% of the time you give the ball into him he won't lose it and link up play. Plus i love his attitude and he just had 90 minutes mid week, this guy has a lot to deal with now, he is leading the line for a big club in a new league. How anyone cannot be really happy with how is performing is pretty mind blowing.

Really happy with how we are developeing. OUR SQUAD, take a minute and look at it. What a fucking squad, we are spoilt for choice now, you compare this to the 30 odd years i've supported this club, what Levy and Poch have achieved and presented us with is quite amazing. I don't really see many weakness, we have a great mix of strength, technique, power and pace now. We have some truly talented younger individuals that can challenge for the first team in a year or two - Winks, Onomah, CCV, Edwards.

One further thing, Sissoko, it seems because of his price tag (lets call him a 20m buy because of the ridiculous inflation), he wasn't great yesterday but people seem to forget the impact of having such players on the pitch. Because of his pace and directness he attracted other defenders, thus making it easier for Eriksen and Son, he nearly scored it was a good save from their keeper and he is finding some match fitness. Let's support our players - he brings power and explosivness which is much needed when you look at Alli, Lamela, Eriksen etc, he adds some real balance to our team and a different option.

Great times, 2nd in the league, great youth team performance in the cup and the team starting to show higher energy levels and creativity.

Agree with most of your post except for the Janssen bit.
Im not upset with him; i think we just got what we expected. Good with back to goal and laying it off to others. Against subpar teams (e.g Boro) its good enough for a win; against better opponents we will need more.
Hope we see more as he adjusts/grows in confidence.

I can easily name 3 players just as good as him in hold up/set up play. Ibra/Giroud/Costa. I can name more: Benteke/Sturridge/Deeney even Rondon. It's a required aspect if you dont have the pace to beat a man. I wouldnt be over excited just yet...

Let's chill.

No. Not Netflix and chill.

Just normal chill.

We're not firing properly yet, seems like the choke is still on a bit.

But having said that, we're despatching our opposition with relative ease, have looked pretty dominant playing at what we all know as fans as about 65-70% of our potential, we're looking good in second, haven't lost a league game, have some key players out, won at the weekend, etc etc. Lots of new contracts, new stadium etc.

Fuckong hell. What more do you want?!?

Best start in 50 years and not even playing particularly well, all whilst having injuries to or missing important first teamers in every game.

Ladies and gents, it's all going to be okay. We're in for a good season.

There's a difference between dominating a game for 90mins and totally cocking up a second half and scrambling around like dummies hardly able to pass properly because a couple of simple adjustments have not been made - nearly costing you all 3 points from a ridiculously strong position.

That wasnt what happened in the second half against boro. We were not under much pressure and still had a good measure of possession and control. They change their shape and tactic to counter our pressing game but I think we adjusted quite quickly and ended the game well in control.

What a silly comment, so why buy any player if we need 'insert attribute' in our team, just find a youth player with 'said attribute' and chuck him in?!?

Give this guy a little respect he was easily one of the best players at the Euro's, and i don't really know how you define product? Goal, assist? Like a clear end product?

Much like when Dembele was struggling with form, people struggled with his 'product', attribute wise Sissoko has pace, directness, strength, experience..... a lot of qualities we have lacked from our other attacking players. But of course we shouldn't have paid 30m for a premier league experienced player, an interenational experienced player, let's find little Danny who's 17 and can run fast! Hilarious.

It was the guys second start for us, let's give him a little time to adapt and find fitness before completely losing faith in him.

No, i never understood why we got him in the first place. He has been inconsistent at best in PL already. Never wanted him to come in the first place and I stand bt that.

That's your opinion, i'll respect it. But i never understood why any fan would be so aginast any signing when they haven't even had 6 months at a new club. Poch clearly wanted him, he clearly adds expereince, pace and power to our team, and adds a lot of depth to our team with his versatility.

He was inconsistent at Newcastle, who are quite possibly the most inconsistent team in PL history. No one player was ever consistent there, let's see how he performs with Poch, who has a better footballing team who demands consistency and won't let him lose focus. An on from Sissoko is a great addition to any team, let's have a little faith in our managment bringing the best out in him before jumping on his back.

I think you've just summed up the pochettino style in a nutshell. I can hardly remember a game under him when we didn't seem to have the choke on at least a little bit. I guess you don't get to have such a good defensive record without keeping it tight. Offensively, his strategy seems to be to rotate attacking talent mercilessly so that the form players are always on the pitch. And on the pitch he likes attacking players who can switch positions and roles during the game. Keeps the opposition guessing. The choke is on defensively but we're a kaleisodscope in the final third.

Seriously WTF hell is wrong with you people?

Seriously, where the fuck did I say Poch out? It is bullshit from posters like you that cause a lot of frictions and arguments in this forums.

I am just pointing out, that sitting back and holding onto the lead is not good enough for us and we rarely do it well, ManU, ManC, Leicester, Arsenal, maybe not Chelsea though, Blackburn too when they won the league, never stopped attacking in most games once they went ahead they aimed to score more goals, showing no mercy, that mean streak that we need. Something we started showing signs of last year.

And it clearly showed yesterday when we took our foot off the boil and sat back thinking the job was done.

But no, you have to post Poch out... ....... ......

No, it's bullshit posts like yours that cause the arguments and they deserve the piss taking they get.

Past experience of that player, it is not like he is completely unaccustomed to PL, he is experience in the league and knows what it is about and what is to be expected of him.

I am far more forgiving when it comes to players that are completely new to league and country, players like Lamela (When he first came) Jannsen and Son.

But that is IMO...
