Yeah to be honest my fears aren't based on anything rational - just years of watching Spurs.

3-0 down to Young Boys within half an hour.
5-1 to 10 man Newcastle on the final day.
5-2 to United after being 2-0 up.
Countless draws, losses and struggles against feeble European and lower league teams.

Liverpool lost this season to a second string Leicester team with a makeshift defence.
A good Man United team lost to Steve Kean's Blackburn Rovers.

And the list goes on.

We don't look like that team under Conte but football is football and Spurs are Spurs. Will be shitting myself all week regardless of the fact that we're massive favourites and should win or at least draw.
I think we were 3 up v United.

Oh yeah trust me I feel the same mate. I am just trying to reassure myself in every way possible :D I am not relaxed in the slightest but that's more so because of what's to lose than being concerned with the match in complete isolation. If it was even just a slightly different circumstance then I wouldn't be nearly as worried.

That was a different game - the one you're thinking of was when were 3 up at home (maybe back in 2001) then conceded 5 goals in the second half! I think Ziege and Richards scored for us... Either way it was traumatic!

The other one we were 2 up at Old Trafford at HT, and I think that was the game Gomez allowed Nani to score that really annoying goal. Utd won 5-2. Those scars never properly heal

To be fair though that was an awesome Utd team and not Norwich...

I was at the away game.

The ref (I think Howard Webb naturally) gave a total non-penalty to them when Gomes came out to Carrick's feet and clearly got the ball, which moved in the complete other direction. We then folded after that. Ronaldo, Berbatov and co on fire.

Apologies if we are not allowed betting talk, however:

Norwich are 12/1 and Arsenal are 1/2

If you put them in a Double, it's almost 19/1.

I have stuck £50 on it, so if we do fuck it up, at least my season ticket for next season will be paid for....
I'm tempted to put money on that, simply because I've never won any bet on football.

The last time I put money on a football result was when bet that England would beat Poland 2-0 (the minimum margin of victory England needed in order to qualify for the KO stages) in the 1986 World Cup. Lineker's hat-tick bollocksed my bet.

Don't forget being 3-0 up against City in a cup game if I remember. City had a man sent off, and still managed to win 4-3 with 10 men.

Good times.

They create a lot of very good chances but are not clinical whatsoever. Let's hope that doesn't suddenly change against us ?
That's what they were like at our place. We won 3-0 but they had about 3 sitters so the score didnt tell the full story. We can't gift them chances like that again though. Hopefully Romero can make it back as I know he really wants to play.

Its going to get down to mentality on this I think in termsof how we play. We need a draw and thats it so we could be caught in two minds which can effectively can work against us.

Last minute penalty and we are 1-0 up through Son... and Son needs the second goal of the game to finish top scorer - will Kane give it to him to take?
? he will, why wouldn’t he? We can afford to draw this game so there is very little risk associated.
The bigger question is if it’s 0-0 early and we get a penalty will he let son take it

At 0-0 Kane takes it every time. We'd have to be well clear for it to even come into consideration.

Yep jon makin winner, fa cup replay, and we were at home.
And Joey Barton got sent off at HT (somehow?!) I seem to remember.

However, that was then and this is now. Ordinarily I'd be nervous about only needing a point from an already relegated team but I think with our two last wins coupled with Arsenal's defeats, the guys will so on it and I expect us to win comfortably. This is an experienced group now and I can't see Norwich getting in our way.

We still have the same supposedly dodgy defenders as in Sanchez, dier and Davies though

Just they ain’t dodgy anymore
Yeah true but sanchez doesn’t normally play, and they aren’t dodgey as they’re protected by the back 3

Bet365 has Arsenal to get top 4 as 18/1. Stuck £25 on to ease some of the pain if we fuck up

I've got safety bets on that would pay out over a grand now if we blow it.

I'd take a nice comfortable Spurs win and CL football every single time though!
