I agree for the special one off that is the last day
But apart from that it's the usual question about who benefits from blanket Sunday coverage, which could easily edge into blanket TV coverage across every Prem game.
Still don't know where I stand on that, balancing my convenience against the massive boost that various other clubs could get depending on how any deal would be structured
Well one thing I have noticed living over here is that when you can watch every single spurs game (all comps) I rarely watch any other games so have no idea about other teams except when they play us! Not sure if that’s a bad thing or not…

Yeah but at least we then we get to fully concentrate our rage and disdain for each other, whilst arguing about which of two players we've never seen play before will be a better purchase for the club.
Everyone back to the transfer forum in four hours! Last one there’s a blouse. A massive, flapping, acrylic blouse

I find radio commentary is the worst for your nerves. :hungover:
Especially as they talk about everything but what is going on on the pitch. Bring back the commentary style pre 2000s You knew where the ball was on the pitch and the formation of the attack. All you get now is social chit chat blah blah bollox and more bollox bollox on which bet you could have and then oh shot from outside the area saved by the goal keeper with no detail on defence or attacking formation.

Can see Arsenal winning 3-0 today, Everton players are on the beach now. Think we'll scrape a 1-0 win.

I’d take an OG, red card and penalty today please. Imagine the mental state of Arteta if that’s how we secure fourth place

What a day, we are going to qualify for the CL today. Conte is our manager, and we will have a great summer of recruitment. Bring it on.

@Steffen & @easley91

Last push of deluded positivity today, guys. ??

COYS
I know you mean well with the deluded comment, but we really should be smashing Norwich. I was watching Sunderland yesterday and they mentioned in commentary how the manager said all their past disappointments in play-offs didn't matter because it was all about the here and now, and if you think negatively then negative things will happen. The past is the past. It's time for all of us to start thinking positively about this group and this manager, a manager with a true winners mentality. We have three forwards who on their day can rip anyone to shreds (especially one of the leakiest defences). I don't see it as delusion. I see it for what it is. A side who has all the momentum and can score for fun when they're in the mood.

We are at the very least getting the job done today. Of that I am certain.

2 hours and 59 minutes of staring into the abyss
Standard Sunday evening feeling then; jam sandwiches for tea; the steady, heavy tick of the wooden mantelpiece clock; then bath & a hair wash - sharing tepid water with yer brother; in bed by 8.30, lights .. the abyss of Monday awaits
